Hi everyone: I am very excited to tell you about two big changes to eBay Giving Works that we have been discussing on this board for some time. You’ve been asking for them, and now they’re here! What’s changing? First, starting today the eBay Giving Works minimum donation has been slashed from $5 to $1 for each Community Seller listing that sells. For as little as $1 (or the donation percentage you select, whichever is greater) you can donate to your favorite nonprofit whenever you sell...

As always, the eBay Community is incredibly generous, raising millions of dollars for all sorts of worthy organizations this year. If you're one of those organizations who received a donation from a Community member, this is your chance to thank them and let them know what wonderful things their donations set into motion! Please post your stories here, thanks!

Hey all, I've been selling for just over a month now, and about 50% of my listings are partial non-profit listings (ASPCA). My two questions are: Do buyers know that I give part of my profit to NPOs? Specifically, in a listing that does not have the profit go to ASPCA. Or do I only get attention for the items I list that have a percentage donation to ASPCA? Also, how do I get tax documentation for my donations. Thanks to everyone who helps.

We are trying to list donated items as a Direct Seller. I have our acct linked and have been able to list before --- about 1 week ago I listed 3 items. But for some reason, I am unable to get the form to recognize that we are the Direct Seller now with new listings. It keeps asking if I accept the terms and will allow ebay to deduct our donations from our Paypal acct. The last time today that I tried to list an item it wouldn't even let me designate that I wanted to donate....

How do we know whether our chosen charity is getting any of our money? I have given many times to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through Ebay Giving Works, and other than my money being taken through Paypal, I have no acknowledgement that any part of the donation reached its intended charity. If I'm just throwing this money down a big black hole, I'll just keep it. Dinah

170400766071 (this is just one of the item #s) can't be edited Looks like I have no choice but to close the listings that have Giving Works and pay for original listing fees as well as relisting fees. I did not see anywhere in the help or information section about the Giving Works program that once you list an item using this you can't go back and edit any part of the program. The radio buttons are not clickable, the percentage cannot be changed. I wish I would have known this before I...

This whole concept of charity selling is great, but I can't figure out how to accept the terms and UA for nonprofit selling while using/listing with the ebay listing tool BTPro. When I'm in my listing software trying to post a giving works listing it refuses to list and I get the error message 'We're sorry, but you appear to not be registered to sell for a non-profit, Please agree to the terms and conditions' Is there somewhere online that I can accept the user terms for ebay/missionfish...

Charityjewelsworld is selling phony jewelry with doctored IGA certificates for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Missionfish is allowing them to do this. This is sick, sick, sick and sad. The supplier for the Chinese imported jewelry is the website www.madeinchina.com . They even try to pass the items off as made in the USA! What their doing, and what's being overlooked by Missionfish, is FRAUD, and because the items are being sent over state lines, it's FEDERAL, ie the FBI, that's going...

Hi, I am trying to list an auction but there is no place to add a donation to a charity until I get to the final page. It says to edit the listing to choose one but when I hit the 'edit listing' link it has there, I'm tossed back to my in-progress listing. No problems last time and charity donations were on the first page for the listings. Why not working now? Using Firefox latest version, no changes since listings about 2 weeks ago. Thank you.
