Dear TeamGivingWorks@Ebay.com, Who can I contact at your corporate headquarters to talk about an idea that I have about setting up a charity using Ebay as the conduit to generate major funding for a national cause ? Hi Everyone, I have "adopted" a soldier in Iraq. I have been writing to him for about 2 months, and sending packages. I finally heard from him and glad to hear he is ok. The only thing he has asked me for is the original Star Trek DVD's season 1 & 3. They have no tv, but watch dvd's on a computer. I did a search for them and they are going for quite alot. I was wondering if possibly someone could connect me with someone to purchase these reasonably. I don't care if they are used. Thank you all...

I want to run some items with a portion of the proceeds going to a bona fide charity. Although the charity is already registered with Missionfish, the $10 minimum donation is too much for the items I'll be listing, so I will not be using Giving Works. I contacted the charity for the required consent letter, and they replied by asking for some sample text for the letter. I looked for a sample of what other sellers are using, by doing a search with the keyword "charity." I found one of the...

We Watch & cry,nice feeling to help,one of those..."if everyone would do it...."it would WORK COMPLETELY! I said something about how American Idol should use their votes for good, how hypocritical to not participate when it was made so EZ ...HAD TO...EVERYONE SHOULD do it!

Ok, is it a minimum $5 donation for EACH listing or does the % you donate have to reach $5 before it's given to the charity? I'm a bit confused but would like to give to my favorite charity. Thanks for any info! Heather

I find it disturbing, that I have to 'pre-qualify' to be able to bid on givingworks items, so, as they say, '' to ensure a safe and fair auction '' . That statement alone leads one to believe that all other auctions, must not be safe and fair !! I'm surprise ebay would allow such wording....well....then again...maybe I'm not !

Maddox is 7 and has cancer. He likes to do art & sells it on ebay to help pay for his chemotherapy & medical expenses.
