I have looked around in some of the FAQ's, etc. I couldn't find the answer. I work for a very larger non-profit organization and we have many thrift stores that support our effort. From the revenue generated from the donated item that we receive, we in turn sell that item to fund our programs. I have a list of questions (sorry): 1. Can non-profit organizations sell on ebay? 2. If they can, what are the rates? Is there a 501-c-3 rate? 3. How can we get our icon on the "GivingWorks" Home...

Hi everyone! I'm planning to make a montly donation of 10% net of my profits to a local non kill animal shelter. Before doing so, can someone please help me if E-Bay will allow me to do so? Hi Everyone, I'm having trouble getting into Mission Fish. am trying to sell something and have it benefit a good cause. I signed up for Mission Fish and forgot my password. I've submitted for a password reset and got an email asking me to reset it by providing my user id and the new password. I've input my user id and it will not accept it so now I am in a loop. Should I just reregister? Let me know. Help is appreciated! Thanks

Why are so many posts that violate the board usage policy allowed to remain? Until this board is cleaned up it is pretty much useless to anyone trying to get information on the Giving Works program.

We were signed up on pay pal as a personal account. We changed our i.d. and password on ebay to reflect the non-profit's name; however Pay Pal still has our personal bank account number and credit card number. We do not want to use that account for the non-profit side of selling. I would like to have a personal account however, so I can keep our personal purchases/sells separate from the non-profit sales. How do I get this accomplished? I had to fax a copy of the non-profit check a/c...

Hi, I hope someone here can help. My nonprofit has had some tickets to a high profile dance performance given to us by a donor to auction. We are registered on MissionFish, but they told us that tickets could not be sold through their service. The face value of each ticket (we recieved two) is $500. I have read the event ticket resale guide and it explains that no ticket resold in MA (we are located in Boston) can be auctioned for more than $3 over it's face amount. My question is, Does...

I work for a Non-Profit organization and am very interested in your Giving Works program. However, before enrolling in this program, I do have a few issues I am unclear on. I would first like to know more about the $2.00 transaction fee. I understand that the contribution can either be made by the seller through the MissionFish payment interface or, if not paid, is charged to the seller's credit card. From the FAQ: "When an individual sells on behalf of an organization, after the auction closes you are invited to make your contribution through the MissionFish payment interface." So, using the example below, Susie owes the charity $500. What payment options are available for that? I notice if you don't send the contribution % by a certain date that your credit card is charged the designated percentage. Can you send a check or what before they go for your credit card?
