Hey, Im an Ebayer with just over 1000 sales and 100% positve feedback, I would like to open a store with a new name. I want to know if 1) will I keep my sales/feedback stats, and 2) will people who have me in their favorites be fowarded to my store, or if someone goes looking for my store under my old user name, will they be directed to the new store. Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't been on the boards in awhile - I have to admit that Ebay is now my secondary selling site. So, my apologies if this has already been addressed...but do we no longer have blogs we can post to? My saved link no longer works to my Ebay Blog, and I can't find it anymore.

Hello Everyone, A few months ago I was awarded TRS status and when I went to My Ebay today I no longer have the icon next to my ID? I haven't any idea why it would be taken away, my feedback is still 100%, no negatives since my TRS award and my stars are the same at 4.9 for all, but one 4.8. Any ideas why I lost TRS? I really don't care about the title, but am more concerned with the FVF discounts. Thanks!

Ebay used to display the sellers items at the bottom of the page, not competitors stuff. They did this for a number of years and I believe in the Spring of 2009 is when they stopped displaying my items at the bottom of the page despite my protests. If ebay can display competitors items then they can go back and display my stuff too. Vote to let ebay know that their dealers want the item page to display their items, not their competitors. I was trying to open an ebay prostore with the 1 month free trial. When I clicked on the start now button it goes to a screen that says "Reported Web Forgery! " This web site at store03.prostores.com has been reported as a web forgery and has been blocked based on your security preferences. Web forgeries are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust. Entering any information on this web page...

Im a photographer and started to post some of my photos in a store as fine art prints. Im new to this and would like to get some tips on how to get traffic into the store. Maybe keywords or using the search engine. I have put some key words in the keyword seach engine section but when I search those words nothing comes up. Maybe Im not doing it right or maybe I just dont understand how the search keyword works. Any tips would be great. Thanks

Perhaps the title is not perfect here so let me explain. I think it might be useful to post what we all feel would be our ultimate listing strategy if we had a lot of items to sell in order to get the most traffic to listings. I have some ideas and will start this off. Keep in mind like with anything else , opinions will vary and one size doesnt fit all but we might get some new ideas. I will list reasons for each part of the strategy. You can also talk about what your ideal store size might...

No BS looking for people to document any email and bot response. Sellers are selling illegal items or with there links.But ebay will do nothing for months but they will suspend you. Especially if you report others . Callect them and contact me and contact the FTC (Federal trade commission)

With less than 24 hours notice, eBay has made a major change to the site - and a major change in the eBay/seller relationship. As of this morning, all live listings carry - at the bottom - your competitors listings too! You are now paying to advertise your competitors products - and the most popular ones (according to eBay). Where is the seller outrage? I am quite upset, but realizing there is nothing I can do... I am just going to triple my efforts to get away from this anti-seller...

I'm in a tiny rural PO the other day (close to my house in TN) and someone came in asking if Fedex had left a package for them...I'm thinking they are asking at the wrong place...but no. According to the postperson at that location..."Fedex and UPS pay the USPS to deliver stuff to rural areas"... She did not define 'rural'...But apparently if you use UPS or Fedex because of perceived reliability you may end up having the US Post Office deliver it anyway.

I usually run certain searches each morning. Some have very few returns and always shows store items that fit that search at bottom. Not this morning-no store items showing at all, even if only 2 or 3 items show up. Is this part of the search problem, or the way it will be? Bad news for stores if it is!

Anyone else checked out "Glyde"? New place to sell for books, DVD, CD, media - by former eBay Motors guru. Not going to give "links", lots of news about it. Just put Glyde in search. You'll get everything form the actual site, to news like USA Today / "Glyde takes on eBay". Curious as to what others - particularly if you sell books/media - think of the overall concept. Is it something you would try?
