Beginning January 1, 2007 all books published will contain a 13 digit ISBN vs the standard 10 digit ISBN. More so, all books with an existing 10 digit ISBN will also be assigned a new 13 digit ISBN (also known as EAN). This will impact all File Exchange users even it you do not list in the books category (please read section “How will this impact my downloadable files?”) How will this impact listing items using ISBN values? I keep getting Error Code 37, "Error - Input data for tag is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation." I can't get past it. I am new to FE and I think this is my last hurdle. I use flat rate shipping, US only. Please any advice as to what the correct shipping columns are needed!!! thanks!

Hi I'm trying to end listings and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have a CSV File with the following Action Item ID Endcode I am trying to end a single auction just to get to the bottom of my errors. I started out with three. Bascially I am putting "End" without the qoutes in the Action column, the item number in Item ID and I am formatting it to use numbers without decimals, and the Endcode I am putting without qoutes "NotAvailable" I get the error back that it cannot...

Hello, I've used a scaled down version of the HTML I use on Ebay, but when I tried uploading it in File Manager under the description column. I got these error messages. Please help me someone? BAF.Error.4 Unparseable Line & BAF.Error.5 Unable to find Task Action Id for task discounts on multiple purchases!

I'm at my wit's end with this error. I've come so far in creating our FE upload, but now I'm stuck. I can successfully upload items if I use some dummy text like "Enter description text here" in the description field. However, any time I use my real description (in HTML) in the description field, I get the error above. I've already run the description through the various web-based "cleaners" that remove line breaks and carriage returns. The HTML code works just great if I edit it and...

There's an example of my upload CSV at Link (some fields changed for brevity - VerifyAdd mode on all items) Can't get it to schedule a time at all - always just starts auctions immediately. No errors thrown. Any help appreciated.

Hi, can I do a simple search & replace (Control+H) within an Excel cell to remove all the CR & LF from the cell? I could remove the CRLF from the HTML if a copy/paste to a text editor and bring it back in, but it'd be nice if was possible to do it inside of Excel w/o macros or VBA code. Until recently I set Item Condition to 'New' using A:Condition. This seems no longer to work. Any documentation I can find has not been updated (ha). Can anyone please let me know what the A:Condition replacement is. Cheers Garry

Hi When i download my report of all my active items, it downloads in .csv When i open it in Excel all the data is on the same column. Is there a way to open the report but with all info spread into different columns, (example, item number column A, date column B, titles column C....) Thanks Louise

So I'm trying to write a program that will programmatically fetch a list of the items that I'm selling and their prices. I've gotten the actual downloading working, but the problem is that the download can only fetch a report corresponding with a specific RefID. This means the report is old, when I really want the program to be getting a fresh report each fetch. The only way I've found to request new reports is through the web interface. Is there any way to request a new report...

I am having trouble connecting my listing templates to my product templates. I successfully uploaded a Product template file so all the new products show up in my inventory in SMP. But when I try to upload the listing template file I get the error 890 "Error - The GroupID specified is invalid.|" None of my products have the same name so I didn't think I needed a GroupID? If this is the case and I do need it, where is the easiest place to find it? The documentation says it is in the...

Some of our postings not all of them has the Ships to: Local pick-up only and others have United States they all should be United States, what controls this. The upload files has ShippingType - FreightFlat and we do not specify ShipToLocations, how do I get all Ships To to be United States, since ShipToLocations only has Worldwide, Americas, Europe, None as valid entries.
