In Turbo Lister, underneath the "International Site Visibility" option box, there is also an "eBay UK" option box. I thought that when listing on US site, checking the "international visibility" box meant automatically "UK visibility", and that UK was the only international visibility option available for the moment. Isn't that so? I mean, what's the difference between checking only the "international visibility" box, and both the "international visibility" & "eBay UK?" boxes? Because a...

Hi, Sorry if this posts twice but I cant find my first post. Please help with this situation. I listed textbooks for $149, buy it now price $349. I havent sold on ebay for a couple years and didnt realize the buy it now price disappears after someone bids. It wasn't that way before. A person bid on my item then emailed me to say they didnt want to wait for the auction to end and wanted it at the buy it now price. I replied and said once someone bids on the item the buy it now option...

I just posted a guitar, offered FREE SHIPPING, and made it very clear that I accepted "NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS." The cost of shipping overseas is simply too high. Well, a buyer from IRELAND used "Buy It Now" to win the guitar, and I guess he thinks the shipping will be free, too. I've sent him an email (no response) and have opened a complaint in the eBay Resolution Center, but that can take forever. Good grief . . . Isn't there an easier — and faster — way to resolve this kind of problem?...

Just came across this interesting lengthy old US v. UK thread while trawling the back end of the UK International Trading board - might be an interesting and instructive "how others see us" insight for US readers here. Interesting to see some of the changes since 04. Link

***Protect Yourself From Spoof Emails*** From the Announcement Board: Date: 07/21/03 Time: 03:07:17 PM PDT Some community members have received deceptive emails claiming to come from eBay. Fraudsters who send these emails hope that recipients will reply or click on a link contained in the email and then provide personal information (i.e., eBay passwords, social security numbers and credit card numbers). We refer to these emails as “Spoof Emails.” We encourage you to be cautious when...

Hello All, I wasn't sure when I list items for international sale is it automatically on there for the countries to see or do I check the box for 10 cents that says ebay UK or something similar to that. I noticed this when I did revisions to switch from domestic only to domestic and international. I am just starting out with this so help would be greatly appreciated. Also, pros and cons for calculated inter. shipping? THANKS!!

Just wondering how you friendly fellow eBay folks would feel / handle / deal with a very odd situation that happened to me earlier today. I guess I want to be reassured by others out there that I am not completely crazy.... Anyway, yesterday I submitted what I thought was a very reasonable 'Best Offer' to an American-based eBay seller for one of his current items. My offer was $16 on an auction that also had a 'Buy It Now' of $20. A full day went by. No reply came from the seller. (Keep...

I want to ship a package to the Netherlands from the United States. I'm doing this from Paypal's website and there isn't an option for Parcel Post. Can I use First Class Mail to mail a small package 6" x 6" x 6"? Thanks.
