There are changes upcoming to eBay picture hosting over the next few months that we are announcing here today. Copy Web Files uploader on SYI Later this month, we're introducing a new upload option for eBay-hosted item pictures. It's called "Copy Web Files" and appears as a new tab in the Add Pictures window on the Sell Your Item form. It's intended to make adding pictures to your listings much easier if you manage your pictures on a web server. It should be especially useful to sellers...

I just heard the news today about Picture Manager retiring end of August. There isn't a whole lot of information on what we need to do to transfer over. I am completely lost. If we want to keep our hosting on eBay, what do we need to do. And will we be able to keep the photos within the templates as we currently do now? It doesn't pay to complain at this point, but another bombshell being dropped, another thing I have to do that will cut into my productivity, another thing that wasn't...

eBay is extending the shutdown period for eBay Picture Manager to after the end of January, 2010. Current subscribers will receive an e-mail confirming this change and site pages that currently display the shutdown date as after "August, 2009" will change within the next day or so to display "January, 2010". We've extended availability of Picture Manager to allow current subscribers, particularly those who have their listing pictures embedded in the item description, additional time to...

I need to use 14 pictures (actually 16 but I can make it work) in a listing for a LOT of Collectible Zippo Lighters, but ebay will only let me use 12. Is there any way to expand this? Thanks Tim

I've been trying to post an auction for the past 4 hours. I keep getting this error message on the SYI form: Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href. I have no idea what this means. I'm using a template that I've used all year several times with no problems, although I haven't posted for awhile. I resumed a few days ago with the one auction that I have up now. The only difference between this template...

I use Photobucket to host my photos, but I only use one photo on eBay, the free one. Mostly this works out fine. But lately, some of them have a yellow symbol (a tornado?) and when I hover the mouse over it, it says: You may want to improve the image quality. We recommend that: The image be 90 or greater quality for JPG compression. I have not slightest idea what they are talking about. Or rather, I don't know how to change it. All my photos are the same 'quality', as I use Kodak...

I bought a template from someone on ebay and I can't make a revision if needing to change something in my listing. I can't see text, pictures etc. It's been a very long time since I bought it and just now trying to use it. Am I allowed to post it here or would it be invading the sellers privacy?

When looking at any of my auctions, I have to slide the bottom horizontal bar about 1 inch to see the rest of the page. I'm using MS Front Page. Any advise how I can make my pages narrower and what my be the perfect size for eBay? Thanks.

I have a brand new computer with Windows 7...I downloaded the newest Turbo Lister. When I try to add my pictures (from my picture file by browsing to it), it shows the picture file as empty when in fact it is filled with pics! When I access this file on my own thru my computer ALL my Pictures Folders are there, filled with my pics...it does however show each photo Folder of mine with a little "lock" picture/emblem beside the folder. I suspect that Windows 7 is not allowing access to...

Some ebay seller stole photos of my motorcycle off another website and is using my photo to sell his parts. The part on my bike is over $500 and is a Corbin....the part he is selling is some generic aftermarket part not worth anywhere close to mine. I've reported this to ebay.....and they wont do anything. I get BS excuses. I even quoted their own copyright infringement policies to them. They wont respond. I asked the seller to remove the photo...and he ignores me. While this is not...

After the images have uploaded to the Photobucket Album,.... Do you take the time to fill in the Title, Description and Tags ? It is so time consuming and I already have my photos named anyway. Is there an advantage of doing it ? Or what is the disadvantage if I don't do it ? Thanks in advance for advise
