It is very important that all sellers with non-paying bidders file unpaid item disputes if payment is not received from buyers. Since negative feedback can no longer be left for buyers who do not pay to warn other sellers, filing an unpaid item dispute has become more import than ever. Filing a dispute and then closing it eight days later will give the buyer a strike towards suspension and is the only way sellers have to protect each other from bad buyers. I sold a phone that was in fine condition when I last used it. The buyer claims that he gets a message "poor signal strength" when he tried to activate it. I suggested that he contact the carrier. My listing said no refunds. In the past, I have refunded items even when I doubted what the buyer said. In this case, I am not dsposed to return the money when the signal strength problem is not my issue. I indicated the phone was used & was replaced since I got a new phome from my carrier....

I purchased something from Canada on Dec 4 and they said they shipped it Dec 8th. Does anyone know how long it takes to get from there to Florida?? I sent them a messge and I just keep getting a generic message back that says, you should see it soon... I guess they sent it without a tracking #. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Beth

Hi, I sold an item on Dec. 1 and never received payment so I filed a non paying bidder report the other day and now she writes me with all kinds of reasons like; Power outage car towed snow storm etc.... I checked with advance search and it is funny but she has bid on and purchased about 50 other items since mine. I also checked her feedback and she leaves a lot of neg and neutral one of them concerns me it says: At a loss for what to do. Repeatedly contacted w no response, got unpaid strike....

Has anyone had any trouble with a package shipped that took more than ten days to get to its destination. Shipped out a package to buyer in Austin Texas on 14th of December. Sent First Class. Went from my local P.O. ( Bridgeton NJ) to Bellmawr NJ sort facility also on 14th and left there on 14th. No other news as to where package is. Buyer wants to know where package is. Had insurance and delivery confirmation. Has anyone ever had a similar experience with lenghty delivery with USPS?

I made an error and have ticked off a buyer. He was a previous customer who had in the past paid with a check, which was fine. I listed something last week. Not long after, he emailed me to ask if a check would still be ok. I replied back that it would, as he'd been a good customer in the past. However, I didn't think to check the auction, and I had at some point between the last time I did business with him and last week, changed my settings to block bidders without PayPal accounts, and...

Every time I try to sign in to My eBay I get a bunch of questions wanting my SS#, mother's maiden name, credit card info etc. in order to get the full benefit of some new security system. And the grammar is bad which is always suspicious. Anyway, I can't get around it to get into either one of my accounts. Are the questions really from eBay or is someone messing with my account?
