All sellers should make sure they read this new announcement about properly declaring selling prices on customs declaration form: ***Reporting Value on Customs Declarations*** August 22, 2006 | 01:59PM PST/PT Postal administrations in several international countries have contacted the United States Postal Service about the declaration of value placed on customs forms. It is very important that all sellers with non-paying bidders file unpaid item disputes if payment is not received from buyers. Since negative feedback can no longer be left for buyers who do not pay to warn other sellers, filing an unpaid item dispute has become more import than ever. Filing a dispute and then closing it eight days later will give the buyer a strike towards suspension and is the only way sellers have to protect each other from bad buyers. It is also important to file...

Apparently Friday (11/6) was D-Day for the automatic eBay generated payment reminders and I have already had two complaints from buyers of multiple items. We can't opt out of the eBay generated payment reminders (see Link ), we can't change the text, and now we have explain to customers who we are encouraging to shop and purchase multiple items that it isn't us who is dunning them for payment after 48 hours. eBay - please let sellers opt out of these payment reminders! Not everyone fits...

Anyone ever think about this or hear anything about this? I personally think it's a great idea. For people trying to make a living selling on eBay, lack of health insurance is definitely an obstacle that gets in the way. Why doesn't eBay start a group health insurance plan at very affordable rates like a regular employer does for their employees? I think that there is more than enough eBay sellers that would be interested in paying a small fee every month to be covered for medical/dental...

I had a lot of trouble with listing a legal sealed copy of windows 7 tonight, something about limiting the auction to 5 days or more? Why I sold a copy boxed a week ago in a one day auction? No problems it was sealed and legit from Amazon now I have another sealed upgrade disk What is going on? I have 100% rating and selling since 2001.

Just recently upgraded to Windows 7, big improvement on Vista. Anyways, I still have the OEM disc for Vista (note that this is the OEM version that comes in a clear plastic case, it's not from any particular computer manufacturer since I built my system myself). I understand that the license for this copy of Vista is forever tied to my system and cannot be transferred to another, and if I listed it as is it would quickly be zapped. So what I want to know is, could I just sell the disc alone,...

I have been an Ebay member for years and pay approx $750/month in fees, this will be ending very shortly. Ebay has made it quite obvious it's a company that cares about buyers and not sellers. It does nothing to protect us at all and less by the day. Over the years I have lost over 100 items due to Paypal/Ebay bidding scams. Buy an item from a Canadian and small packets do not have a tracking number, file a paypal claim the next day and you'll get both your items and your money back so...

I received a message Saturday from a buyer that she had received her Pyrex cranberry saucepan from me but it was broken. She offered to send it back to me but I saw no point in that~~I issued her a full refund for the broken pan. This morning I got to thinking she had received it pretty quick being sent parcel post from Wi. to Ca. so I checked the DC number. DC shows it as still in transit and hasn't even been delivered. BTW~~I use USPS DC forms so it is scanned along the way also. I...
