It is very important that all sellers with non-paying bidders file unpaid item disputes if payment is not received from buyers. Since negative feedback can no longer be left for buyers who do not pay to warn other sellers, filing an unpaid item dispute has become more import than ever. I'm looking for some advice about handling 3rd party insurance (Shipsurance) claims. As you may know, if an international parcel is lost (maybe for domestic parcels too, never had a domestic claim), Shipsurance requires the buyer to sign an affidavit. I've never had a problem with 5 or 6 claims over the past year - I would e-mail a PDF to the buyer, they would sign it and scan/e-mail it back to me, and Shipsurance would pay in 1-2 weeks. HI, I just tried to post a listing in the category of Men's Shoes choosing the style of Boots. I kept trying to choose the sub style of "work" but all the web interface would give me is in both the NEW listing and REVISION forms processes 3 sub styles: "basketball", "running", "sneakers". sub style "work, motorcycle" etc. correctly. I sold a childrens small clothing lot and mailed it Nov. 3rd and tonight got an email saying the buyer never got it, she was understandably upset saying 'you have 24 hours before I file a claim'. I looked and sure enough the tracking shows it was shipped but the last activity was Nov. 4th saying it was in transit and then nothing. I out curiosity today, I asked at the PO window about a package being scanned there and she said that they don't scan it when purchased online. So what's the point? I don't understand why the PO offers a discount on Delivery Confirmation online and not treat it the same way as buying it at full price at the window. When you buy it at the window it gets scanned, but if you bring in the online one it doesn't. I know it's not a tracking service, but I think the PO at the first point of delivery...

Propay is for Powersellers (that's us) but you will STEER CLEAR OF PROPAY if you are a wise Powerseller. We signed up for Propay, changed all of our listings to accept Propay, and then received an e-mail from Propay a few days later stating they wanted to keep $5,000 in a reserve account in perpetuity (i.e. until you close your Propay account) in case there are any chargebacks. I have not sold any items in a long time (since Paypal), but I have bought many items. I have a rather expensive item in an auction. I put a note on the auction for no buyers with less than 10 positive feedbacks. Two days into the auction, I have a bidder with 0 feedbacks who has run up the price. I have a buyer claiming they haven't received their item. I mailed the day after the auction ended since they paid right away. This was 9 days ago. I didn't do delivery confirmation because this ended in the $3-4 range. They're already wanting a refund. They have good feedback. How long would you wait to send a refund? In my buying experience on eBay I frequently saw the sellers' explanations of the star ratings, and, in particular, how the eBay administration does not, in fact, think of 4 stars as "good" and uses it as grounds for account suspension. OK, eBay only allows electronic payments unless the item is personally picked up. Why on an invoice I'm getting ready to send my buyer (eBay motors) does it state they can mail a payment and show my address? How can I remove this? Also, is there no more live help function? eBay used to be fun and now it's really becoming a pain. Glad I'm not selling much anymore!

I just won an auction and paid. Next to the auction is the hour glass icon instead of the $. So I go into PP account to check it out and it says that the money is unclaimed? Look at details page and it says seller is not registered? Hmmm.. never had this happen before. Could it just be that PP or Ebay have the sellers email wrong? This has to be the most agravating listings that I have ever had on Ebay. I only ship to USA and Canada, it is plainly listed, plus I have all other locations blocked. Today I received an Email from a buyer in Ireland, telling me that she was blocked, and that my listing said "glad to ship internationally". If you do not mention smoking in your description, do not, I repeat do not, douse the items with perfume. Trying to fool the buyer. The smoke smell is bad enough, and does not disappear. I am allergic to smoke, but I can get rid of that. I am more allergic to most perfumes and can get very sick, very fast when I am around them. Thank you._________________________________________ . I sold an item that i think is in perfect condition, but today I received an e-mail from the buyer that said it was not as described. They stated that the item had marks and scuffs all over it. I listed the item "nwot" and showed pics of inside and out side the bag. I don't take returns because i don't want to be scammed. I told the buyer to show me pick of the marks, I have not heard back. A buyer won an item and now would like 2 more items that I re-listed and I am not sure how to do this. She has not paid for the first item yet. I sold a couple items as a lot, buyer paid, great!!, but between the payment and me shipping out my 2 year old lost one of the items. I have looked around but we have a big house and who knows. A buyer just left me positive feedback and for the message said it was a "good deal A, although paid immediately doesn't leave feeback until buyer does F" he made my communication dsr go from 4.8 to 4.6 as well.
