It is very important that all sellers with non-paying bidders file unpaid item disputes if payment is not received from buyers. Since negative feedback can no longer be left for buyers who do not pay to warn other sellers, filing an unpaid item dispute has become more import than ever. Filing a dispute and then closing it eight days later will give the buyer a strike towards suspension and is the only way sellers have to protect each other from bad buyers. Hi. I haven't sold anything on ebay for over 3 and half years and would like to know if there have been many changes since? I heard a rumour to the effect that in order to sell that I must accept paypal and money orders and cashiers cheques are verboten. Cheers. Ilurk.

I am so sick of this scam and it keeps getting worse. It goes like this. From seller: Hi, I bought 4 of your "widgets" and I only got 2. Please tell me what you are going to do about this before I leave feedback. I got another one today. I will send the replacements with my apology. Why? Because if I dont want to get a negative, and or get my stars dinged. I know I sent the correct amount of "widgets" because the weight of the package is for the correct amount. I cant even tell...

I had stopped selling on ebay for about 6 months and then decided I could use a little extra Xmas cash. I started selling again. OUCH! Sold a VERY heavy item on another ID and now paypal is holding $450 cash for "up to 21 days". I used to recommend ebay to anyone and everyone I talked to. I would NEVER recommend selling on ebay to anyone again. In fact I would discourage them. SAD! I'll survive the hold. I wonder how many people can not. I have been selling on ebay since...

Hi, I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place, but I bought an mp3 player (I think on the 19th of Nov.), and the seller stated they ship within 1 day. I went to the payment page to pay, and it stated the seller ships within 15 days. I found another seller with the same item and bought two from them (these are Christmas gifts for my girls.) If you do not mention smoking in your description, do not, I repeat do not, douse the items with perfume. Trying to fool the buyer. The smoke smell is bad enough, and does not disappear. I am allergic to smoke, but I can get rid of that. I am more allergic to most perfumes and can get very sick, very fast when I am around them. Thank you._________________________________________ .
