I have a trophy cup the label of which says "Coupe Vredestein 1963". Does anyone know about this trophy? Was it given as a cycling trophy by the Dutch Vredestein tyre company. I tried this on the Outdoor Sports board with no result.

Just a heads up...I see a few scumbags selling autographed memorabilia using stock photos and saying that the item will come with a COA from a trusted company "like" PSA/DNA, JSA, UDA, GTSM, Mounted, Steiner, etc. Sometimes they'll throw the name of the bogus company who actually issued the coa in the list and hope you miss it before you bid. The stock photo protects them from having their auction kicked off by a VERO member as well as the PSA/DNA quickopinion, and I guarantee you won't be...

I'm thinking of buying $1500.00 worth of baseball cards (pre-war), this one mostly for investment, realizing I might not get a return, but who cares, I like baseball cards.. Just wondering who would... (1) buy one $1500 card (2) buy three $500 cards (3) buy ten $150 mid-grade cards I know there are other possibilities depending on quantity, but with just these three options...and this question is just wondering your opinion... Which one seems to be the more intelligent strategy in...

I've never used this feature as a bidder, but from reading the help section, it states that my offer and any additional terms I include in the offer is binding if the seller accepts. My question is to confirm that if I offer a price delivered, that offer will override the seller shipping charges that are displayed in the listing. Example: I need one card to complete a set. He has it listed for $3.00 + $2.50 s/h. My best offer is "$3.00 delivered -- shipping in top loader and PWE is...

I purchased a hobby box of cards from a member (don't know if I'm allowed to say their ID name on the boards) and after about a week of not seeing the "shipped" icon lit in my "won" page I became a little worried. Not that a week should worry me but at the same time I just had a bad feeling. Today I sign on and see that under that underneath that win it says "eBay Note: This user is no longer registered on eBay." So I'm starting to sweat a little, lol, then I check to see what the...

as an example, I put "1952 Topps" into the regular "find" box, and 1911 hits.. then I tried the "refine search" tool, and got 560 hits.. (actually, I was *very* surprised to see that many hits already there).. obviously, we sellers have a long way to go, filling in the blanks for the "refine search" function to find our stuff.. if they had made this clear to the sellers in advance, and had given us 30 days of having the categories *and* the search tool, to test and tweak our listings, this...

Well after reading some posts from the last couple of weeks I decided to look at some of the "older" cards that I have. I found 5 M.J. die cut "The Farewell Shot" cards dated 1999, they measure 5"x3-1/2" are from Upperdeck and are numbered to 1000 each. They are opened packs but still in the original packs (if that matters). Any thoughts?

Is there a technical meaning for a "Vending Find"? Was there a certain kind of box or set these cards came in differently than packs? If so, which years? Is there any reason these cards would be "minter" than cards busted from a pack? Thanks!

In going through some 'stuff', I found a '61 Topps sticker book with appx 50% of the stickers pasted in, none loose/extra. It's not in especially good shape, yellowed pages, color loss on the cover, my name on the front, etc. Any thoughts as to value or shall I just value the good old days. I also found appx 2000 '59-62 cards...collected as a kid.

I would like to move some of my cards from my back room and closet to some sort of display, like maybe on the wall. I have a concern about negative long term fading/light damage to the cards. Any suggestions or site referrals would be appreciated.

I have a ton of ray allen rookies and other inserts 1500 or so probably 20 graded. 20 of everything else common. one of each autographed. 1 press plate. Can I excpect to get 25-50% bookvalue? Do people buy huge lots or would I be better off selling them in smaller lots?
