Seller has 100% feedback so I'm sure it's a glitch of error. but the shipping cost for item # 180424181637 is $ 2,300 for a 7 pound item. I could not find anywhere to report this to ebay, as there are 3 bids on the item.

Hi, I'm not a very experienced seller, I only sell my own used and un-used stuff, not an ebay store, and I need some advice please. I have recently sold a "new without tag" brand name sweater to a buyer for $22.33. After the buyer received it, she emailed me and claimed that the sweater is not new because it has the smell of perfume and she found a long hair in the package, she wanted to return the item for a refund. I replied and explained that the scent is from perfumed-tissue papers...

I purchased a motor cycle engine last week. The listing had numerous pictures of the engine from different angles and perspectives. The listing described the motor as "good looking motor". And it did, look great so I bid appropriately. When I got the motor it looked nothing like the pictures...rusty, dirty, covered with oil and grease. I look at the sellers feedback and saw the same photos and description for an engine sold three weeks earlier. I would have never bid on the item if I knew...

Ok what is the deal with "haunted" or "djinn/genie" jewelry on Ebay? Is anyone out there a wiccan? Are those items real? Or are they scams? I don't know much about Wicca but I have bought about 7 so far. Two of the sellers promised to send the djinn's name and incantations for invoking them (they assured in the ad that those were "merid" djinns and thus were safe to invoke, yet out of their 4 rings not one came with instructions or a name of the djinn. What ther hell?) And then...

Toddler buys earthmover in online auction WELLINGTON, New Zealand – A New Zealand mom made some online bids on toys before napping. Then her 3-year-old daughter took over and bought a bigger plaything than expected — a huge earth-moving digger for a cool $12,300. Pipi Quinlan made the winning 20,000 New Zealand dollar ($12,300) bid on the Kobelco digger with a few mouse clicks at the auction site TradeMe while her parents slept, the Rodney Times newspaper reported in northern New Zealand....

I have a BIN - best offer listing. USA shipment only. Yesterday, I received an email from someone who says he is in the Ukrane. He will pay for the item but I need to send it to his friend in the US. Already told him - verified paypal address only. But what is the scam here?

Regarding Ebay's ability to revamp the boards, allow me to quote Rev. Johnson from Blazing Saddles ... "O Lord, do we have the strength to carry off this mighty task in one night? Or are we just j*rking 0ff?""My taste for romance is kinda perverse, I can only make love in the back of a hearse." Moe Szyslak, 18 Oct 09, Treehouse Of Horrors XX

Re: stareeyedmom (and others as well) I cannot believe eBay allows "name my baby" listings. These affect the futures and well-being of children, especially if the high bidders give them a name that subjects the child to a lifetime of ridicule. It also may expose the child to people wanting access to the child (just as lavonneedrum promises visits with her baby). These are children not products. It's bad enough the parents want to exploit them. EBay should not assist. This whole category is...

I have not sold here, apparently, since before the Ebay/Paypal merger. I did notice changes re Sellers' ability to leave feedback. But now, I have a dispute ruled against me by Paypal.Of concern are two basic issues. I used the listing-default "No Returns". And specified it was a vintage, very-used guitar, that I do not play nor have extensive knowlege and thus could not answer detailed questions re internal condition. I.e. "as is". Posted many large pics. And again, specified "No...

Hmmmm - i am a day away from completing the auction of my car, and one of the higher bidders has just emailed me privately claiming he has 'noticed a problem with my bids', has contacted ebay and asked me to ring him. I'm dubious of this, as if there' s problem with *his* bid surely he only has to retract it, and everything else looks perfectly legitimate to me (in fact my current high bidder seems a lot less ropey than this guy) Should i respond or just ignore it? ~Cheers in advance...

Hello I have had a horrific last month. I got sick and really got sick with the FLU, I run an online Ebay store by myself. Now I had a man that over reacted by leaving me 8 negative feedbacks while I was sick, and then just 2 hours after he left the negative feedback,,,oh and also after telling me that he called the local Police deptaptment, and contacted the District attorney's office ,,,he recieved all 8 items =) Now I really as a matter of fact felt bad for this person as it's one of...

We wanted to take a moment to update you about a change to how long you may stay signed in to the eBay Community Forums (such as the discussion boards, chat rooms, eBay Groups, or the Answer Center) without activity. After you sign in, if you are "inactive" or "idle" for roughly an hour, you will be automatically logged out. After being logged out, you'll still be able to view threads and read posts, but to post, report a post, or vote in a poll, you'll just have to sign in back again. This...

I had a (re)listing removed by eBay for being a prohibited item. They were American-made vintage alligator pumps - not unlike many other vintage alligator shoes actively listed on eBay right now. They had previously been listed for 30 days without any problem. I'm not at allsure that this particular alligator is identifiable as a prohibited subspecies and contacted eBay about it. No real biggie. THIS is the strange part: The copy of my email contact with eBay (through eBay links to the...
