I am a victim of a buyer, this buyer abstract_treasures is scamming sellers of gold, checkout his feedback left for others, he is buying gold and then claiming it is not gold, opening a dispute with paypal and only sending part of the items he has bought back, he is getting full refunds and keeping merchandise, If you are one of his victoms contact ebays trust and safety dept and open a case, do not sell to him, you will regret it. I want to purchase a vehicle on craigslist. The guy is military and is stationed in Alaska. He says the vehicle will be shipped through Military Cargo. I had a sale!!!!!!!.Payment by Paypal and tried to ship with USPS link from Paypal. Buyer verified, but USPS came up with another ZIP. Emailed buyer to verify Zip. Buyer confirmed the Zip from USPS. Item shipped same day with delivery confirmation. 3 dayes later Paypal reversed the transaction because of request from buyers bank. I have a clear cut and dry email from a crook who told me to pay her $200.00 to her paypal account (exact paypal instructions given in the email), so that she would not leave me negative feedback! Hi, I'm not a very experienced seller, I only sell my own used and un-used stuff, not an ebay store, and I need some advice please. I have recently sold a "new without tag" brand name sweater to a buyer for $22.33. Oh no! I've received a hateful, powerful anti-semetic message as a positive feedback! I sold a little package of wooden dreidels for scrapbooking, and just received this anti-jewish message. I have a fairly expensive item up for sale ($800 computer part) and so far two buyers have expressed interest in purchasing it. Both though want to supply me with a Fedex shipper number and have me ship it that way. Is this a known scam? I've never had anyone ask for this before and I've probably sold around 300 items between 2002 when I started and now.

I have a professional DSLR camera body listed and I received a request from a buyer to add a “Buy it Now” option and they would purchase it. Seller refuses to complete sale, claims he forgot to place reserve on item. Claims he couldn't cancel as E-Bay would not allow. I thought you could cancel an auction up to 12 hours before. If you are buying land in Arizona, I suggest you carefully check the feedback of your prospective seller. Pay particular attention to feedback received from other members that are "No longer a registered user". Also check the feedback left. This post is not accusing anyone of anything. I am tired of sellers canceling all bids and ending auctions early, because they are not getting the price they desire. I read the rules, they can cancel for no reason if more then 12 hours remain in the auction. However, I can not find out how to find how much time was remaining. Without a way to see this, we don't know if the seller is in compliance with the rules. I also believe we should be able to leave negative feedback for sellers who do this. I purchased an item Nov 7 and paid immediately. Afterwards the seller claimed to have shipped item with a delivery date of the 16th-23rd. When it didn't arrive I emailed and asked for a tracking number. The next day I got a message back that he didn't even have it in stock! Sorry he said 3 weeks after he supposedly shipped it. He agreed to refund my money through paypal and 3 hours later he still hasn't. What can we do when sellers accept payment for merchandise they don't have?

I know I don't know alot about Ebay, but is this kind of auction legal? Selling 54 different sets of dishes on one auction when it should be 54 auctions, right? I just don't get it. How do you bid against each other when everyone is bidding on different sets. Shipping is out of this world. Only $7 to ship a set of dishes? That's nuts. Should be alot higher, right? Seller has an item I really want. Does not take paypal and offers payment only through Cashier's check or MO. Has only been active a few months but has a lot of feedback (some of it not very good). Seller also appears to be selling pennies in and effort to increase feedback. If I buy from him and don't receive the item or it isn't what is promised, I'm essentially without recourse unless it's on a credit card or through paypal. Is that correct?

Thing is that i bought an ipod touch and never have received it. Seller supposedly shipped the item using usps first class mail and refuses to give me any detail about the shipping. I don't know if he/she insured it or not. In addition, no tracking number was provided. I'm very disappointed since my case has been awaiting decision for four days until now.

I won an item, the seller refuses to honor auction because of the problems with the search engine Saturday. The dispute is ongoing yet he has relisted the same item under another account! How do I report the two accounts with the conflict of interest? Basically the final price was too low for him and he wanta another shot at the sale with more buyers.

This happened to me a few weeks ago too,,,,while browsing in Parts and Accessories i suddenly get an alert from BitDefender 2009 that a trojan has been detected....My system is safe but the alert flags a sellers thumbnail. I have been tracking the bids for 128 GB flash drives and found that one sellers items all hit the same price on the forth bid stating price was 9.99 on the forth bid they all hit $20.50 or $20.51. Last week I discovered that some of my images have been stolen by another ebay user and they are selling them in the same format as I am - giclee prints. Has anyone else had problems with UPS shipping?? On 11/16 someone located in Brazil with a zero rating and zero feedback bought all 8 dolls I had listed as BIN. I sent an invoice with shipment to Brazil. 11/17- she writes back that she has a Florida address, so can I calculate shipping there, and also can I send my email paypal, so she can pay that way. I just saw a seller list 4 auctions whereby text from my listing was copied. It's obvious - same color, font, alignment. Even the title is word-for-word copied. I bought a 4gb flash drive this morning as a BIN with free shipping. The seller just contacted me with a request to cancel the purchase, as he had listed it with the wrong price. Yeah, the price on the drive went down by $2 in his new auction (he claims he has 10+), but the shipping went up to $8! I purchased a zune mp3 player November 10th. The money was taken out of my account and I was charged but I have yet to recieve the product. I'm really starting to think I got scammed. I messaged the seller twice and have yet to recieve a response. I also opened a claim with ebay and am currently awaiting a response. If a buyer claims damage, and tells you he wants a partial refund, or he will leave negative feedback, is that extortion or manipulation? What if he refuses to return the item when you offer a full refund? If he is happy with 3 items, but dissatisfied with a fourth, is it extortion or manipulation of he leaves negatives for all 4, buts states he will remove them for $5.00. I had a buyer do this to me, and T&S say it's too bad on my part.
