Can anyone identify the small Hallmark to the Left of "Sterling" on this Dresser Box dated "12-25-1900". Any Help with the Unusual "Billiken" like Face is also appreciated, since it technically pre-dates the Billiken, thank you kindly.

I've never seen this mark before but I assuming it's pre 1928 due to the fact there is no date letter. I am looking for help in dating this piece and could someone tell me what it is. It looks like a trophy cup but there's no engraving. If you have trouble reading the mark, it reads "Manufactured by Reed & Barton Taunton Mass. & Plated. Thank you in advance for your help Link Link

Seller ID Garbolatry has been stringing me along for months after I bought a custom-sewn Victorian dress for my wife. Very poor communication, weeks on end of silence. Finally claimed dress had shipped, but it was "lost by FedEx" and was "filing a claim". Now won't even respond to email. eBay won't do anything because it's been more than 45 days--which seller had told us it was going to take longer than to sew the dress, anyway.

Hi - Is there anyone who can take a stab at dating the clothes these 2 ladies are wearing? It almost looks like they're wearing mourning clothes and I'm thinking very early 1900's Would anyone agree? The 3rd pic has a date of 1913 at the top. Would that be consistent? Thanks for any assistance!

Hi, Do you know the maker, value or any information on the sconces pictured? They seem to be cast iron as they are about as heavy as cast iron trivets that I have. The only marking is on the back and it's stamped: X428. The "thing" that holds the candles can be removed. Thanks so much for any help.

Can anyone tell me what these are? As you can see they have holes in the top, the 2 that are engraved, are engraved on both sides and it appears the plain one would have sat in the middle of these both.. what are they? Thank you in advance

Heres one Im a bit perplexed by - Watch chains and the like usually do perplex me. How did it function exactly? This one has a hook of some sort and what someone over on the jewelry board called a sister clasp. Was it for ladies? How did it work, exactly, and is this one intact? Thanks in advance, Rachel (Swampy)

Good Evening Found these 2 pieces in the attic which I originally posted on the jewelry forum a few days ago. I was told I should post here instead for this type of item . From what I got from the other forum these appear to be old thistle claps. They stand 1 5/8inches not including the metal and 1 3/4 inches across which the back has 2 metal brass brackets. Some members stated they had a Scottish theme and believe the material to be vulcanite. Please help me to ID if someone is familiar...

I recently found a bunch of rolls of old wallpaper in a friend's family's Victorian mansion being sold and renovated for condos. I was lucky enough to be able to go in and take what I wanted at the end. They are unused, long rolls, in various wonderful patterns. Does original Victorian-era wallpaper in long rolls have any value? I see lots of repro stuff, but I can't find any original stuff to get an idea on value. There are some beautiful patterns, as stylish now as they were then. I have...

These were in an auction lot of Victorian and Edwardian clothing and accessories, and I have no idea what they are. They are very neatly and tightly crocheted and are clean as a whistle, as if they were just made. There are no fastenings anywhere on them.
