Powersellers have the opportunity to give ebay more money??

in the just released announcement you write, "...eBay Top-rated sellers will... (have)...exclusive access to purchase Featured First and a prominent Top-rated seller badge on item pages. The Top-rated seller badge will be tested in search results pages this summer. The current PowerSeller icon will no longer be displayed on buyer-facing pages including item pages."

AM I MISSING SOMETHING...are you telling me that i'm going to have the OPPORTUNITY to "PURCHASE" a new power seller logo that will display on my item pages?

It sounds like Top Rated Sellers get nice new shiny gold badge, but the remainder of PowerSellers loose visibility of our hard-earned icon and it can only be seen on "our" pages (my ebay/Selling Manager).

I want ALL my customers to know that I'm still a PowerSeller ~ even if I don't qualify as Top-Rated! I've worked hard over the years and deserve it!

Just because a couple rogue buyers left five 1's or 2's on a single item (for whatever reason they see fit) means we don't qualify as Top Rated. WHATEVER!!!!

Only Featured First is for purchase. The Top-rated seller icon will be automatic.
