Posted this in the ANTIQUES section, and have been advised that I should post here.

Large STONEWARE JUG w/ ODD COBALT DESIGN & letter "M" / Salt-Glazed?

Can anyone ID the cobalt design (is that a numeral "3"? How about the impressed "M"... is that the maker's mark? Measures 16" tall. I would appreciate any info as to age, maker, location of manufacture, how to describe...THANKS

I would also appreciate any info on the second little jug. It is an unusual squatty shape and measures just 5" tall and 5" in diameter. What did it originally contain?

Hello, this is a first time for me. I have a Very Large 30 gallon Salt Glaze Crock. I was just wondering if I should try to ship it if I sell it, and what would be the best way to package it to ship. I would think it will weigh around 55-60 lbs. Thanks, Rambler

Hi, I'm kind of new here. I'm trying to help my parents sell some of their stuff, and my mom just loaded a ton of old bottles and other glass things on me, and, though there seems to be a lot of info on the web, i have quite a few that I can't find any info on. I would post pics, but the computer is having issues and not recognizing the camera. Anyway.

Could someone possibly give me any info (dates, function, value, etc.) on the following:
1. Health-O Headache Cologne clear bottle -- can't find this anywhere!
2. Simmons Liver Regulator aqua bottle (JH Zeilin & Co. Macon, GA and Philadelphia) -- I've seen conflicting info on this one, so just want to get a straight story!
3. Dr. Harter's Liniment (4" aqua bottle)
4. H.K. Mulford Chemists Philadelphia -- 2 bottles of different sizes, amber glass, squarish -- maybe pill bottles?
5. A clear bottle with ceramic cork that says Solution Citrate Magnesia, 11.5 fl. oz. == dosage info is embossed on glass
6. A large jar that says Old Judge Coffee

Okay, these are the main ones I am interested in, and absolutely any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance -- glad you all are here!!

Hi,
These bottles have been my family for quite a while, Mother who is 91 remembers them from her childhood. I've always thought they were brandy bottles.

Hi, this was cross posted on the glass and pottery board and someone suggested I try here. I was wondering about an app. age for these 2 bottles I have, as I haven't turned up anything in my googling. I have a glass pharmacy bottle from Hickman's Pharmacy in Philadelphia and one from Miller & Baer successors to Hickman's. One is for Insect powder and one is for Senna and Manna. There are seams down the side and they were meant to be plugged with a cork. The insect powder bottle has "melted" in little dots/splotches the word Lasser Co.. It's as if a hot glass blowing tool was used to write it. Anyone have any thoughts? Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Hi, all. I'm in need of some help. I have a copper whiskey bottle, made by my great-grandfather, probably c. 1840, in the Ukraine or Poland. It's 10-1/2 inches high, 3-3/4 inches wide, and about 2-1/2 inches deep; top 2 inches tapered to a screw-on cap (I know... a picture is worth a thousand words. Will provide one a.s.a.p.)

I have no idea where to find similar items to determine what, if anything, it might be worth and would appreciate any help re categories, finding comparable items, etc.

Thanks, in advance, for any tips you can provide.

Hi, I've searched and can't find any info on this bottle. It's 2 1/2 in. tall and has a cork top. Label says Blue Mass- Jas. Bailey & Son, Baltimore, MD. Appears to have never been opened and has the Blue Mass inside. I did find out that Blue Mass is made from mercury but nothing about the bottle. I'll try and get a better photo if needed. Thanks for your help. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Candace ~ NO ONE is watching this thread anymore, as evidenced by the last few posting dates. Try posting your question on the Collectibles Board or Antiques Board. You'll probably need to post a picture of your sign, also. Good luck.
