Large Copper Charger Old? New? Trash? Treasure? Help TY

I couldn't resist this large copper Charger! Does anyone have any thoughts? I have looked over the piece carefully and did not find any signature. Googled and couldn't find one quite like it. Would this be considered Arts Crafts? Thank you for any info you can provide!

Does seem to be a newer piece of decent quality. Looks like hammer marks in the center....... maybe a combination of a pressed design with additional handwork. Applied patina....... Could also be from India.

Does anyone else think that there may be a possibility that this is a WMF piece. The mark is usually tiny, hard to find and can sometimes be difficult to read. WMF made such a wide range of items that is sometimes suprising what turns up. Is it possible to photograph the mark? Here is a link to WMF marks

Did anyone guess phoenix or ho-ho bird? Interesting item -- the design above the birds are rather like Chinese depictions of clouds. :)Wendy

So sorry it has taken me this long to respond! Just got back from a long weekend and see quite a few responses to my mystery item!khl, you are right! It does look like the logo from Japan Airlines! A crane it is! Brad the center of the piece does look hammered. I'm recharging my camera battery and will take a photo of the small mark that it on the hook and will post it. If anyone else has any other thoughts, please let me know. I have no idea how to list this.
