Rant: Estate Sales/ Garage sales that don't stick to their advertised times.
The ad for the estate sale I went to today said it would start at 10am, and No Early Birds. Ok. So I get there at 9:30 thinking I would wait in line for a bit. Nope, already open. And then I find out from someone else that the estate company had opened up the sale the day before, and there had been some good items.
Whats annoying is I could have been at other sales that sounded interesting, but now that I wasted the time at this place, the other places were most likely cleaned out already. Its very competitive in this area. Ive gone to many garage sales and have heard they had people stopping in 4-5 hours early, or the day before. Oh well. Whatever. I'm ok with that. But if you advertise No Early Birds, stick to it.
But at least it was a real estate sale... Don't know how many times ive gone to one advertised as such only to find it be a few tables in the garage with goodwill junk... anything to get the people to come I guess.

Mebop my 16 y/o is still holding on and should have died last year He lives in the kitchen now and has pee pads all over and uses them. The vet said he will pass in his sleep. His name is Fredward,and is part siamese.
