I would Love to Hear About Your Weekend Plans :)

Barbecues anyone??? or what are you doing this weekend??

I really wish I had made plans to go the mountains or something with family, but Dave and Steph are going to the Phillies game tomorrow night. I didn't want a ticket....I need a date?? anyone? :)

The cooler will be filled with all kinds of fun stuff & we have a bunch of boom booms to light.

I just picked up 10 pounds of baby back ribs (8 racks) & various Italian sausages for the grill.

Today will be spent doing chores so tomorrow can be an all day party.

Happy 4th to everyone.

Me... I am working in the morning (opening the store) then we may or not go to church, then find someplace to take the kids to watch fireworks. I do not know if we are going to by any but we don't have a grill anymore to cook out on. *sighs*

I know I am so boring.

going to a friends BBQ tomorrow then having a big birthday party at my house Sunday. We spent the day today setting up the tiki bar. Tomorrow morning we're putting our boat back in the water...had to pull it last week because the power sterring wasn't working

It's really HOT here! I don't see anyone outside grilling and that's good. We're suffering a bad drought with record high temperatures. It's supposed to get up to 101 tomorrow with no rain in sight. The fireworks make me nervous.
I do, however, have the history channels on and they are showing that old documentary on 1776. Washington was tough! So was Ben.

It's still going on!!!
It's been 20 years since I took an American History course so I'm suprised at what I didn't remember.

I had no idea that Louis XVI played such a major role in the american victory.

I had forgotten that Benedict Arnold received some really poor judgements against him before he turned against the american forces. They said that if he would have died the day he was shot in the leg, he would have died an American hero. They also said that if the British had one, he would have been honored with the title of duke.
