Zack, I was just wondering if you would post what you thought of "His Father's Son" if you read it shortly Yes, master.
what is your favorite Little novel? The Revelation.
The Store (that whole father/daughter thing was pretty disturbing) Yeah, I could have done without that.
I didn't like the last 30 or 40 pages of the book.
Once the main character went to work for the Store, it just seemed to me like Little didn't know where to go with the book at that point.
The images of the dead walking (especially the one walking & walking & walking underwater) in (what else?)
The Walking, always creeps me out.
Plus, I found the back story in that one as interesting (if not more so) than the main story.
Even the books I'm not crazy about I still enjoy, he's one of those writers that I will read anything by. Me too.
he's not great with endings Most endings don't really satisfy while building up to it in my head, so it's a good thing I just enjoy the ride to it, otherwise I may as well quit reading fiction.
but I love the weirdness in his stuff His "The Circle" is like that.
The ending didn't do much for me, but it has its weird moments.
Maybe that's why I like his short stories even better than his novels My favorite ss of his is "The Washintonians".
