About e-Pro Auctions watch your PayPal account they charged me for something that I NEVER bought, now I am trying to get my money back from Pay Pal

Ben Does this "E-Pro Auction does have an eBay Compatible Application." MEAN that eBay is going to continue to allow this scum to claim they ARE eBay Certified Developers? I can send you a copy of the cover of their info pack if you wish to see it

When a developer has an eBay Certified Application, the only thing that eBay certifies is that the application is compatible with eBay's system and the code is relatively efficient. In that sense, I'm sure their application works.

For companies with eBay Certified Applications, however, we don't certify or endorse anything else about their business or their business overall. If you have questions or complaints regarding third-party software or service providers, you need to bring those up directly with the vendor.

I too am a sucker... E-Pro Auction has charged me on the following amounts and dates:
09-28-05 $ 4.95
10-13-05 $ 34.95
10-21-05 $ 29.95

I understand that E-Bay dose post Reviews & Ratings on their sites. This is to help educate us or seperate the Good from the Bad. However, some of us like myself may not always know the difference. Especially since they are representing themselves to some degree as affilated with E-Bay. This is very mis-leading and if I were a company with a Good Reputation such as E-Bay. I would investigate this and put a STOP to it.

Now I've got alot of calling and researching to do on these charges and pray it stops. Guess I will contact E-Pro Auction again to request a credit of which they promised on 10-17-05. They have not done this and have charged me $29.95 again for something I don't even know what I'm paying for. I will then contact Pay-Pal and E-Bay. Now I'm gun shy to purchase anything. I'm also concerned with...Do they have my other Account Information to take charges/ Money from. I have two checking accounts and a couple of credit cards.

Is there any information or help out their that anyone can advise us on ??? Things to do, people to call, Etc. Anything besides what I've mentioned above. I'm New to all of this Biz. This isn't fair !

I think with most CC co. and probably banks you can block payments by explaining what happened, filing chargebacks etc. I'm sure there's forms you'll need to fill out. Contact your bank now so that no more charges can run through. Make sure you tell them every name you know of.

I would also report them to the better business bureau as more people will learn of their dishonesty.

I always pay for stuff with a cc. Easier to get your money back.

AG may be able to help you too. Some TV news stations have segments on stuff like this so you might want to send them info too. Newspapers too.

I discovered a charge on the card I use for by e-bay expenses from this company in Orem, Utah. I never bought anything from them. I have advised the credit card company. They don't give their phone contact on the credit card statement so I have to go look for them. Beware!

I too got suckered in by Proauction. I had authorized a small shipping and handling charge to my credit card, then was notified about the $34.95 charge that would appear unless I cancelled. I cancelled immediately, even received a confirmation that I'd successfully cancelled, yet the charge appeared on my credit card statement. No phone number to call and dispute either! I'm disappointed that e-bay would permit an association with this scam. I think I'll sell my e-bay stock.
