"it seems to me that a company that continues to charge AFTER the consumer has cancelled is not something you would 'know what you were getting into'. Honest companies don't continue to charge you after you cancel their service."...not sure what you're talking about.

They don't charge you after you cancel, only if you don't cancel.

Which it sounds like most of the people in this forum didn't do.

I suggest you reread posts 7, 8, and 24, among others. They all say they cancelled and continued to be charged.

Janie - First, take off your caps lock. It makes your posts hard to read and is considered screaming, which is rude.

Second, from reading the previous posts, you can apparently cancel your credit card and get a new one to stop future payments. Then you can see about getting a refund on the others, though I haven't seen any evidence of anyone receiving any on this thread.

I have a question - exactly how are you people signing up for this program? Online? Is there any small print that advises of these other charges? I assume that you are providing your CC numbers to pay for the shipping and that you didn't sign up for the free kit which I found and posted in #29. Just curious.

Perhaps all of you can get together you might have more luck? Try reporting this to the FBI via this link: Link

Good luck!

Hi everyone. i also got scammed in this farce. I contacted my CC Co and got a temporary credit pending investigation. I'm with all of the complaints that have arisen, the Credit Card Co's are on to them. Should I cancel through E - Pr Auctions???? No.... do not cancel!!! As if you do you are admitting that you have signed up for this and will be responsible for what has been billed. Air John has admitted signing up for this. What is good for one person may not be good for another. Caveat emptor....wish everyone success in getting their funds returned. GrandJeep_05

Okay. First, let me apologize for using capital letters.
I am new to the internet and did not realize that I was
being rude. I was upset, also. Yes, I gave them, my credit card number. But, it was only for the kit. Which, by the way, I did not receive. My credit card company finally credited my account $29.95, but I still had to pay the $34.95. I had an excellent reprsentative of the credit card company that suggested she call them. She did and was given a cancellation number from E-Pro. Which is something E-Pro would not give me. I am still a little over $70.00 inthe red, but I am hoping the charges will stop. Thank you all for helping me.

I encourage all those who have been duped to write to the Better Business Bureau in Utah, 5673 South Redwood Road, #22, Salt Lake City, UT 84123. Both e-pro auction and Tekmeds Hosting were added to the BBB website in October, 2005. There are 0 complaints against them at this time.

Okay me too! Total mislead and to cancel, but how! didnt register and now good bye CC. A 70.00 $ live and learn. Called the sales rep who is epro coaching supposedly reffered by epro auction and I,m the first to complain. Contact me for further reference. So I'm here to complain and be counted as it cost me 70 big ones for nothing. Actually if you randomly contact ebay members twice a day and warn them of epro perhaps it will do some good.

e-pro auction software

See the discussion under town square_>discussion_> Beware e-proauction software. It is the same story everywhere.

You are billed $34.95 way before you get the CD that cost you $4.55. Then, if you didn't notice the "Tekmeds" offer hidden inside, you are billed $29.95 for that. I did notice Tekmeds, cancelled it right away and got a confirmation email of cancellation. When e-pro tried to charge me $34.95, I didn't have any money in the bank that day and the bank declined it.
The email fron e-proauction,stating that the bank had declined the charge, let me know I was in for a problem. I received that email the DAY I got the CD in the mail.

I called them, left several messages (due to their hold time) and sent an email to cancel. I actually sent a very detailed email and their response via email to me was "Is there something we can help you with?." ?????.....

I called back, waited on hold and got a live person. I was told that everything was cancelled. I would get no more charges from them.

I do get another charge though....$4.25 for an email newsletter, weeks later. I call them back again and they absolutely refuse to refund the $4.25. At that time, I had never seen an email newsletter from them. I even speak to a supervisor and state this was already cancelled and I haven't received a newsletter. The supervisor states that:

"We have software that tells us you opened the email." ????? I tell them I may have deleted apam from them without opening it after I cancelled. Apparently, he says the deleteing "causes their software to think I read it and I should have read it and unsubsctibed."
I tell them I really would have received the newsletter and it goes from not ordered/not received to not ordered/received.

There is someone on the discussion board I noted who did receive a refund for the newsletter-or at least was told by e-pro they would. There is even a user on there that states EBAY CUSTOMER SERVICE DON'T KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE, after they emailed 'fraud' on Ebay. Apparently at E bay, ONE HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. Since, it appears from this discussion, E-Bay does know who these people are and hadnily lists them somewhere. I can't rate them though, I have to have FB of 50 to rate them. Maybe, E-Bay, I will wait 50 days before I list anything on ebay or buy anything on E-Bay. Maybe within 50 days, E Bay will have investigated these people.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Utah (where e-proauction is), the internet fraud center and the FTC.

I too have been scammed. I got a call from them asking me about an interview but when I contacted them I simply wanted to know why the dis wasn;t working. I inserted the disk and nothing would happen and the graphics were very unprofessional. So when called to ask questions I was interviewed instead and they referred me and my husband to a website to apply for a credit card. My husband was charged $129 for a application and he was told it would could towards his online account??? Um...which account? I was never told that I was going to be charged $34.95 and $29.95...especially after I ordered the disk and it was not working. This is Fraud! When you call to cancel you just get voicemail and no live person. I am filing a complaint with my attorney general and sending all these comments from e-bay to my bank so I can get my money back ASAP!

Where you can post a complaint.

I also filed a complaint with the BBB in Utah....the more of us who complain, the more issues will be resolved. My bank called the 800 # and agree this is a fishy business and are backing me up and trying to work with visa to get my money back (other than the $4.55 I agreed to).

I get all this, I was disgusted that I fell for this as well, and cancelled my tekmeds. But I did log into the website for eproauction and it looks like it has potential. Is there anyone, per my previous post, that has worked with this company/products and is having some success. I don't want to throw out the baby...

I too found the same three charges to my GM card. My exception is that I never ordered anything from these people. I just got off the telephone with GM. They are sending me new cards and will investigate the fraud.
The charges were:
10/16/05 CS@EPROAUCTION COM $34.95
10/21/05 TEKMEDS HOSTING $29.95
11/14/05 CS@E-PROAUCTION COM $34.95
