Help: How to identify these Hilti bits (?) ~~
May 22, 2012 04:05 AM

I bought 3 of these Hilti bits (?)  for 25 cents each. (I figure if nothing else, I can scrap them.) 2 are the same size, 1 is a bit smaller.

They are new and in their original clear and orange plastic sleeves. PROBLEM: I do not know what they are or what to call them. This number/letter sequence  is etched on one of the shafts: Hilti KM 36 606483B6.

I called Hilti and the woman I spoke to did not have a clue.

Any ideas?????

BTW, my DH thought they were concrete gouges but I could not find listing with that name.

TIA

FWIW: This weighs 1 pound 13 ounces and it is 13-3/4" long.

That's exactly what they are - "gouge chisels" for making channels in concrete and block using a hammer drill in non-rotate mode.

Being Hilti brand I doubt they were very cheap.
