eBay Bucks Beta Launch

Hi everyone,

Per our announcement on March 30th, this thread will be used to answer your questions and collect your feedback on the eBay Bucks beta launch.

One important reminder: eBay Bucks has launched as an invite-only beta program to randomly selected users. If you have been selected to participate, you'll have received an invitation email from eBay. Periodically we will invite new users to join. Rest assured we'll post any updates here as the program continues to evolve.
Please use this thread for eBay Bucks questions and comments only.

This thread will be accessible starting March 30th. Staff will be checking this thread during business hours (9-5pm PT).

The eBay Bucks team looks forward to your comments and questions!

Hi,

I just joined eBay Bucks Beta and I have a concern. I purchased several items, requested an invoice and the seller combined the items and gave me a discound on the shipping. However, he put the discount at the bottom and my e-bay bucks savings were reduced by the discount. Can this be fixed so it doesn't happen again?

I love the ebay bucks program. I participate in ebay as both a buyer and a seller....every little bit helps is my motto. I also feel like if someone has "free money" to spend...they are more likely to make a purchase than if not.

Hi,

I received an invitation to join eBay Bucks, however, I was out of town when ebay sent me that email invitation. When i got back, i tried signing up for it but was told it has expired.

How can I have ebay send me another invite because I want to try this program before the holiday shopping season starts.

I cashed in already the first batch of my ebay-bucks just about few weeks ago.
So far for the 2nd batch I've accumulated about $8.

Hello, Please tell me where to go with this. I earned a little over $6 and used it on Item #370279082458, so the total owed for the card was $3.49 after using my earned credit. However, when I paid on paypal, I was charged the whole $9.99 without any credit for the money I earned. It also shows in my new balance that the $6 was taken out of my account and now there is only $.80 cents from new purchases. Your assistance with this problem will be very appreciated... Mark

I just want to say thank you to eBay for the bucks program. I never really intended on using it but with recent purchases I've made thru eBay I saved up a small amount I've used towards a purchase for some component cables for my PS3 I also got off eBay. Again thanks for inviting me to the beta program and I'm loving the service.

I like the program. And, although I have been unable to spend any yet, it is a great addition to the site.
There are a few changes I would like to see to make it even better.

For one, I think that unused eBay Bucks should roll forward for future use. I missed my first certificate and didn't get to use it because I was away on vacation.

Another way to fix that problem could be that instead of quarterly certificates, we could cash them out and use them when we choose. Perhaps there could be a minimum (and/or maximum) amount before we can do so.

No matter what, it's an awesome program!

I was invited, joined and earned my 2% here and there. Thank you! Ebay is already a great place to find bargains as it is, anything extra like this PROGRAM is more +++++stars for Ebay!! I don't know if I would buy more because of this program-because the purpose is to save money using Ebay, but I definitely feel like I have received something nice. It's just something to make shopping on Ebay "fun". AS, for technical issues, I haven't seen anything with this program. It's responsive and update your "bucks" immediately. I really like that feature where it tells you how much "bucks" you would earn for a particular item and it updates as I'm bidding!!! Of course, everybody wants to enroll-if you say you don't you're lying. It's not a big deal but it's sure nice to have this program. CVS have this extra bucks thing very similar to this, but that is FULL retail plus more..this is EBAY, so the earning is real. I have been a BIG fan of EBay and if people sound like there is something better than EBay on the internet I want to know about it. THANKS EBay!!!

So I've seen this ebay bucks program going in for sometime..... you mean it is not yet possible to include the rest of us in it yet? you just don;'t have that knd of technology? How about instead of giving a chosen few money, you just lower these 8.75% fees your screwing people with? Would be nice to know what methd you used to pick the "chosen few"
