Stealing a auction

I was looking a chenille bedspreads, but this lady has me confused.
"Please LOOK at ALL of the pictures in the enlarged view. ASK QUESTIONS. Any bid that is made in the LAST MINUTE of the auction will be considered to be a bid made trying to steal the auction. NO REFUNDS will be considered.

Now i am not sure i want to take a chance and bid.

I would just move on and find me another seller.

To me, it screams that this seller isn't worth the hassle. To bluntly write that in their own auction, well it actually makes buyers go away.

Better to cut your loses and move along. ;)

I wonder what she does if the sniper doesn't win? Disregard their bid, and sell the widget for a lesser amount of money?

BUT
Some bidder that put their bid in 6 days ago won!

This thread cracks me up. LOL @ #5 - if sniper doesn't win, does she sell it for less?


I'm also laughing a book being offered. Worthwhile Stories for Everyday.

I'm just trying to determine WHO deemed them worthwhile? What a funny title for a book.

If possible, I try to avoid doing business with control freaks. The nice thing about them is that they often signal that freakishness in advance so that you CAN avoid them.

Anyone who sells on Ebay and doesn't like snipers just doesn't get the whole Ebay thing. What else don't they understand?
