Guess what I found in my computer room? (WARNING: Ugly carpet !)

I was diligently listing this morning while my kiddos were in school. I reached to the table behind/beside me to get a pen and found this little guy staring at me!!! We were both frozen with fear.

DH came home and clobbered him with a shoe! And threatened to flush him!

What a morning! Please excuse the ugly wall-carpet. Our computer room is the ugliest spot in the house. Maybe that's why this little guy liked it.

OMG....I would have been running out of that room soooooo fast (and not because of the carpet, LOL!!)...and I live rurally!!!

It's a field mouse, why didn't he just put it outside? No need to kill it.

He's really cute. I'm not saying I would want him keeping me company while I list, but he's cuter than most mice I've seen in my life.

He would have come right back in. You have to take them quite a ways away to keep them from heading back to their nests. Can't just toss them out.

I don't know what I would have done if I found a mouse in my house.

I was in my shed over the summer and one ran by me, I was freaked out. I am always turning on the light and looking around now before I will go in there
