Here's something else that's helpful to use, especially for posting a link on the boards (to a completed listing, search result, etc.), that you want others to take a peek at. If you use it, it prevents a sometimes extremely long link from "stretching" the board. That way, people don't have to scroll sideways to see all the discussion posts.
The website that has the tool to do it is
Link. It's totally free & easy to use. Once it shortens the link that you input...you just copy and paste that shortened one here, into your post on the boards.
Here's what you'll see on the home page (except I've made the background gray & added the red arrow to post it here):
Where the red arrow points is where you'd input the URL of the listing or search result that you want shortened. Then just click the button that says Make TinyUrl.
When you do that, the program will make that original
long link much shorter, and you'll see what's below. For an example only (I input the long link to current listings for 2T dresses on eBay).
The red arrow points to the new, much shorter link that was made from my original longer one. I'd then just copy that shorter URL link, and paste it into the discussion on the boards.
It definitely won't stretch the board discussion & makes viewing it much easier then.
