Hey Kevin - additional thought - if someone can't attach the fixtures to rolling wood uprights like you did (love it!) or has to setup/takedown their "photo studio" after each session, the lights will also work simply setting on the floor propped up against the back of a chair. :)

Wow - I feel stupid that I hadn't thought of setting up the lights on stands like that! I had set up a similar arrangement months back, where I hung the lights from hooks in the ceiling, but it was awkward and unsightly for that room so I did away with it. The rolling stands would be easy to pull out and put away (space is at a premium here). :)

I can't wait to get my eBay room clean enough to set that up and the $40 extra money to go get that setup. I remember your last thread, and I tried it at the other house where we had the shop lights already, but I just couldn't Picture how you meant it. I do still want to see the bathroom setup.

We only have 1 bathroom, but it's larger then then my eBay room and I think that if I hung the lights from the ceiling and had them set up to where when I was done doing the eBay pics I could just refix them like you would normally see them, I would have some great light for doing make-up and all I would have to do is take down and store a tention shower curtain rod and curtain. That would make it a great space saver.

Hey Kevin! Thank you so much for putting together the guide page! What a great idea. I have been using this system for a couple years and it works like a charm. I hang my lights from the ceiling and in 2 years I have never had to replace a light bulb (and that is with often leaving them on overnight by accident). If you want to add any more pictures of different set-up options I would be happy to offer a few pictures of how I have mine set up.

Thanks for all the kind words and the "votes".

My absolute favorite idea (not mine) if you have the room, and it doesn't take any construction skills like the 2x4 setups...

You get two clothing racks - like Z-Racks. Mount one light to one upright of each clothing rack (cable ties or hose clamps most likely). In addition to a portable, "construction free" mounting solution, you have two racks, you can work from one to the other as you shoot.

I'll probably start an "additional mounting ideas" section in the guide.
