I own a small company that designs handbag, laptop bags and other accessories. I am looking for a manufacturing company/ contractor that can produce small lots with a short lead time (couple of weeks at most) BUT I can't seem to find local manufacturing resources.

 

I am looking for two things:

 

I need to get about 50 designs sewn to fill orders. If you know a local seamstress who can give me a  high quality work on a budget, that would be a great start.

Or

A local apparel manufacturing company/ Contractor in Chicago area to get several different pieces made. (Sleeves, Bags, Purses, Accessories)

What about having your items made in Vietnam? I know a very good factory during my visit to Vietnam last year. The cost is quite low and they ship to United States.
