I'm interested in collecting some big lifelike dolls. I'm already looking to get a Himstedt doll, but I've seen some nice looking dolls by Susan Lippl (Sophie and Lisa)and Monica Levenig (Rebecca, Sandy and Alexis). I believe they are all Masterpiece dolls. Does anyone have one? Do they look as good in person as they do on-line?

This is my second Levenig doll (Lyra) I think she is a cutie but one of her eye lashes was cut short. Company is sending me a new eyelash hopefully to replace the damaged one.My first Levenig doll is show below she was called Susanna. I do have many Himstedts and believe they are the best dolls out there but unfortunately the Himstedt Factory is now closed. I will treasure my Himstedts as works of art.

I am obsessed with a particular doll by Monika Levenig.  Her name is Sydney.  I tried to get her recently on EBay, but I was new to the whole process and was badly outbid at the last second.  I am very dissapointed.  Does anyone have her and is willing to sell?  My e-mail is pqdjohnsen@yahoo.com.  Thank you!

If you still want her or start looking for other Masterpiece or any dolls I suggest subscribing to dollchatter.com. Its free and people are always selling dolls and there is also a place you can request wants! Also, if you have facebook you can join Collectors of Masterpiece Dolls. They are always on the lookout for masterpiece dolls and usually when they know someone is looking for one, they post it if they see one. Also they share pics and stuff and its so fun!!

What are Masterpiece dolls like in person? I love Sydney and would love to get her one day. She had long gone before I had even heard of Masterpiece dolls. I really like a few of the new ones from the latest releases.

I'm looking for some Masterpiece dolls: specifically:

emilee, Ellie.  Jada, linei, jasalyn, christopher, ginger.., maybe::::, sophia, april, marley, william, jai..

most all of them are wonderful but some are really exceptional..

They all seem retired..  I like the ones with fullish lips, neutral expression but captivating.. not pug nosed or wide pasted on smiles..

usually i add bit of color and freckles to them..

thanks

I am considering upon purchasing my first "Masterpiece" doll.  However, I'm probably less affluent than the majority of those purchasing them!  I've been doing quite a but of research on these dolls and searching the web for "non stock" photos!  Are these dolls sturdy and

well made?  Are the eyes & wigs high quality?  What about the vinyl?  I have fallen in love

with the 29" inch, brown-eyed blond "Aria" by Monika Levenig.  She is SO ADORABLE!  I haven't seen her in person but have just found these photos: http://babiki.ru/shopik/27575

Has anyone else purchased her?  If so, what is your opinion?  Does anyone have one to

sell for a reasonable price?  Would anyone have photos of her that they would be willing to

share?  If I do decide to purchase a "Masterpiece" doll, "Aria" will be my first!  I also LOVE

"Sophia" by Monika Peter-Leicht and "Adriana" by Susan Lippl!  I think these dolls look much

more realistic and lifelike than the Annette Himstead dolls.  If you have any information or

have an "Aria" to sell, please contact me: Silverblossom21864@gmail.com
