Adship Disappearing act

Contacted Adship @ 1-888-GO-ADSHIP (1-888-462-3744). They say they have pulled the application due to user non-compliance and users not actually inserting the packing slips in the packages. Claims can still be made for the accumulated amount due by requesting funds @ redemptions@adship.com.
They will contact your buyers to verify your compliance b4 issueing any redemption. I don't know about you ... I used packing lists in approx 80-90% of shipments, but I don't like the idea of customers being contacted / bothered on my behalf by a third party. Personally, unless it is a high value or business item I have ordered, any packing slip I receive goes in the garbage with the rest of the packaging. So, I couldn't tell you which items I got a packing slip with or not. I wouldn't expect my customers to have any better recollection. In my case ... $100 gone. It was a cool concept while it lasted, but again, another good thing killed by those who take advantage. Hope that helps, T

By the way, it just dawned on me that I need to turn back on paypal / ebay shipment notifications. These were turned off as adship was handling the shipment confirmations and tracking # forwarding to the customers. Hope it helps, T

My adship app turned off also without no explanation. No explanation about monies owed. I have inserted every advertisement into the items packaging unless my printer messed up which it does from time to time. To be honest the adship servers were so slow that it slowed my shipping process down. Even the "contact us" button on the app does not work. I actually liked the app while it worked but keeping the monies owed with no explanation is irritating. To me this seams a unproffesional. I figure I'm not the only one this has been done to. Oh well.

You can file a redemption claim at the address and phone # in first post. They will verify with your customers that they indeed got packing slips, then supposedly pay what is owed. I personally won't hold my breath

I had been using Adship for some time - always included the invoices in the packages. I suspect that is a scapegoat arguement.
When I first used them, I would get paid within 10 days of request. Then they changed the stated police to 30 days. But every time, I would have to call and complain after 45-50 days.
The last time I had threatened to leave a poor review and that I was not happy. The guy (always talked to the same guy) told me I wasn't the first unhappy person and wouldn't be the last.
Could have been a great service. So sad. Fruzie's Collectibles

I used it on my different accounts, and they never paid me. After $50 earned (on a different account) I asked a few months ago, they told two weeks later to wait 30 days, and what do you know, no check. I was always a bit skeptical for so many reasons about it. The way it was set up, to have to have already printed out the label, and then print the ads, I imagined a lot of people skipped actually putting them in.
The ads themselves were also a bit sketchy; I mean, they weren't for viagra or anything (at least mine weren't...well, there was the Canadian pharmacy...) but when you have websites with intentional zeros in the title instead of an o for "0maha steaks" you wonder who's really sponsoring you. The "you've got a refund for this purchase" also seemed a bit curious. I'm just glad it never got to pure scam mailing.

AdShip emails the same flyer to the customers as the flyers in the packages so they have no excuse. I actually had a return from a customer were the packing slip was sealed inside the with the part but the printout from his email had the adship advertsising "Advanced Auto Parts" right there on the paper so it is a flimsy excuse for AdShip.
They are 30 miles down the road so I am going to the State Attorneys Office for Miami-Dade County on Friday and file fraud charges. They owe me ~ $772.68 and I kept a PDF printout of ever single ad ever sent.

They are crooks, I called and they have no intentions of processing any payments at all. They say they will contact our buyers, and IF they respond they will pay. Yea right, how many buyers are going to actually respond? One or two? That's what .40 cents? In reality, adship has built a verified marketing list and are selling it for thousands of dollars, to multiple advertising companies. They need to be shut down as a whole. Adship not paying is fraud, plain and simple. All of us ebay sellers need to contact the FBI IC3 google it. They will lay it down on them. I have already contacted the BBB, and IC3. I advise all ebay sellers screwed out of money by this company to do the same. They still owe me 148 and change. I sent three requests never once did I get a response unitl I called over 15 times, and even then it was all lies.

To our eBay users, we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion we may have caused you by the recent removal of the AdShip app on eBay. After extensive review, it has been decided that this app no longer aligned with our goal of best servicing our retailers and advertisers. It is our intention to honor payments for those vendors that did comply with our terms of use regarding actual placement of our advertiser’s ads on the invoices for the products vendors sent to their respective customers. To further assist you with any questions regarding your account, please send an email request for the funds in your account to redemptions@adship.com. Include your name and eBay ID. Upon receipt, your account will be reviewed to verify that the packing slip with the ad was included with the customer shipment to earn the ad commission based upon the insert. Due to the high volume of users, we do ask for a 14 days window to review your account. Once the account has been reviewed and ad invoice inclusion has been verified, an email will be sent to you about how your payment will be processed.

Wow, I am impressed at the response ... I appreciate it. I think everyone would have had a better outlook had there been some sort of "Heads-up" before the application was pulled, but I do think it shows some good intent by taking the time to respond (better late than never?).
Thanks, T.

Are we honestly going to let Adship get away with this? I don't have as much as the rest of some of you but i actualy have a 100% insertion rate.
It was automatic for me after a sale so i'm more than a little ticked of by the BS and the run around.
How are they going to verify, they dont have the buyers phone numbers other than the address. information. The eBay selling community helped Adship.
- Build a huge current & accurate database of customers
- Know what bargains customers are looking for on eBay (for market research)
- Know the amounts of money people want to spend at certain times of the year.
I am a financial analyst and i know that the kind of data adship has collected on ebay buyers is worth a small fortune that will readily be bought by companies like facebook or google without thinking twice. I will seek some legal guidance and see what i can come up with.

There's another thread running on ebay discussions "Re: Anyone else having trouble with AdShip & rewards?". I think everyone should go through it. It will give you an idea what other sellers have done or are doing with regards to Adship and there's also some interesting infomration on what Adship was really doing with all the information sellers were giving them with regards to addresses. I think if no one has heard back from them by now, it has become pretty clear that it was just another delaying tactic. They owe from a year ago. There is no way they can verify it now even if they had everyone's phone numbers. Who is going to remember what was in the envelope a year ago???

We have been owed $175.00 since May. We sent our initial request in the end of May, PRIOR to them stopping their ebay alliance.
NO responses. Finally get someone besides that same guy who answers the phone and the woman was rude as hell telling us to be patient.
It's already August 14th and nothing. Called all day today and got the voicemail.
I'll join ANY Class Action suit.
