Now now.

Briab, I believe we were poking fun at suing as it has already been done (least with PayPal).

I for one am truly sorry for your frustration.

Shame but not surprised that a minority of bad sellers & buyers ruin it for the rest & make this site a breeding ground for 2nd graders. Hold on tight to your lunch money little fella.

For mokie. I am not really sorry for his frustration. I am in wonder though. How much money did paypal steal? Briab, you have zero feedback.

Must have been a big purchase or a big sale.

Of course if you win we will all be your new best friends. Please keep us posted.

As an eBay seller and buyer for at least a decade, eBay continues to be more and more restrictive along with its excessive fees along with its PayPal monopoly that almost forces you to use them to receive payment with a 3% premium on top of their fees, often whether your item sells or not. There are more and more auction sites that are coming to the forefront that are definitely worth looking into as an eBay alternative!

Their customer service people are also powerless to assist you with many real issues that arise based on their "policies" that are almost sometimes fascist in nature. Plus as a seller, one no longer has the ability to fight back against abusive feedback. Buyers rule and sellers are considered dirt!

When I called they told me it was because my items were not authentic (not what the message says when I try to sell which is that my account is "limited cause is connected to another account"???).

First of all, the amount of counterfeit items being sold through eBay is appalling. EBay is a clearing house for counterfeit merchandise. I can't understand why the law does not get involved and clean this nonsense up.....

My items ARE AUTHENTIC I had even sent them a fax with my business card and employment letterhead and or what I sold I PURCHASED THEM ON EBAY and CAN PROVE IT!! In addition, what I sell is my personal items I am not a "top seller", Ebay is

I am just very angry they make all these FALSE accusations with absolutely no proof and as a result individuals like myself that use Ebay at the moment for means of supporting my child its extremely unfair and illegal because they won't put what they tell you in writing because they know is NOT TRUE!! HELP PLEASE ANYONE??

Good luck to you as well.

Your situation sounds a lot like mine, funny thing , proving you bought something ON EBAY does not prove it is authentic , says eBay representatives, they just did not catch the fraud in time so YOU get punished for selling it and shut down, yea....that's fair!!!

After seeing my store front increase by 20%, my listing fees by !00% (yes, I get 500 free, But I have (had) over 1100 items) and my final value fees increase by 50% for store items and 125% for auction items; I was forced to close my store.

WHEN DID EBAY GET CONCERNED?  About few days after I closed the store and got a phone call from a supervisor wanting to know what it would take to bring me back.  BUT, they were not going to do anything, they just wanted to know and impress upon me that they were cheaper than Amazon.  I sell antique glass, I am relocated on RUBY LANE now.
