Account suspended for over two weeks...
Nov 6, 2009 03:35 PM
Hi all,

My EPN account was recently suspended as it was flagged for a Network Quality Review after a dramatic spike in earnings.

The suspension started over two weeks ago and it's been 10 days since I received the last request for more information. I've always replied within 24 hours to EPN. I sent an email to the quality review team a couple of days ago asking for a progress update but received no reply.

Does anyone have any idea how long these usually take?

Who would be the best person to contact about this?

Regards

Account expired and pending commissions reversed. Exactly same situation as has happened in this thread. I'll write any updates to my situation in that thread.

Were you asked to suspend links? or just informed of a review? If you were asked to suspend links, that pretty much the same as being cancelled, since you can't earn.
.

I was strongly advised to discontinue my campaigns until the issue is resolved.

However, I would've only expected a couple of days and not this long. eBay is missing out here too. I could've driven an extra $200k in sales during this period.

Good luck ever getting a response. I have tickets open from last year.

It would make more sense to allow the affiliate to continue operations and just put a hold on the payments. Completely shutting down the referrals and earnings is extreme when it's just a review.

Any word yet? I would be curious to know why they decided to suspend you?
Not yet. I have sent an email today to a few people at eBay to try and get this issue resolved. You read a lot about people getting suspended for low earnings, but not for high. It's obviously an issue which concerns everyone, so I'll update here as soon as I get any more information.

Maybe they're still busy as one pink mentioned in this thread. Or maybe not.
Thanks for the link to that thread - I'm hoping that's the issue but it's close to 3 weeks of suspension which just seems crazy to me in the biggest shopping period of the year. I would've thought if they're going to suspend accounts at this time of year that they'd try and get them back in the game ASAP. @nonutzplease - Perhaps I'm too generous, but I actually welcomed the review and the chance to confirm that my business model complied with terms and conditions. However, I would've only expected a couple of days and not this long. eBay is missing out here too. I could've driven an extra $200k in sales during this period.

Even so, why would he be penalized for doing a good job?

That's right. I ran a paid advertising campaign for one of my sites which resulted in my earnings increasing about 12x.

In fact, my GMB was about US$250k in 20 days with an EPC around US$0.35

To be honest, I don't really understand why Network Quality Reviews even occur under QCP?

Surely if you were sending a larger amount of traffic that wasn't engaged your EPC would drop. But with my EPC at US$0.35, it looks like my traffic was actually quite engaged!

Even if EPN felt the need to investigage, I would've though they would have sorted it out quicker than this considering the amount of sales I was sending.

Has anyone been through this and taken a similar amount of time (18 days and counting...)?

Let me see if I got this right. You got suspended for engaging more traffic to Ebay?
