just got banned:

During a recent review of eBay Partner Network publisher accounts and site metrics data for clicks your account drives to eBay.com, we determined that the traffic generated from your account is significantly less engaged with the eBay site as compared to the standards set by our other affiliates. While we appreciate your efforts to drive traffic to our Advertiser sites, we do not think that it is mutually beneficial to further our business relationship at this time. As a result, we will be expiring your eBay Partner Network account in 7 days and we request that you remove all of your eBay Partner Network affiliate links by that time. Payment will take place as per the Network Agreement for any traffic driven to eBay Advertiser sites prior to the expiration date of August 27, 2008.

One of our account managers will contact you if a more appropriate business opportunity arises to work together again in the future.

As stated in the ePN Network Agreement Section (L)(3)(i):

No f***ing reason. I've been in the program for one year, and have sites with pure content and have never swapped or bought a single link - and I've just been banned. I'm guessing this is basically the permanent end of my career on epn???? Is there anything I can do?

I cant believe they have the balls to just ban someone for no reason and no explanation

I just got this message as well.I have a 12-13 epc so I cant see how there are issues with my traffic quality.Ebay you should really take a moment to review your actions.I made 110k last year from ebay alone.I will say this strictly without haste.If you do go through with this ban I will take my partner with me.They all make similiar income as I do so your taking a hit of at least half to three quarters of a mil per year.Get it together ebay.My patience will not last long....

Is there a way to appeal the ban? From what I can tell several well-established people have received the axe.

I received a 'exipiry' notice myself tonight. I'm doing nothing illegitimate, I've been running BANS, phpBay Pro, and custom-written sites with eBay affiliate links for over a year with not a hint of problems. I'd happily submit to a review of any of my sites confident that they don't break any rules.

I have to believe there's some misunderstanding...

Can some eBay employee respond?

Just use the contact us form to speak to someone.Ebay has failed to realized that there are quite a few affiliates that rely on ebay for there only source of income.This is going to leave a very bad taste in my mouth if they do not resolve this very soon.

I got the same thing tonight. My epc is 6.00. I track most all my stats through to the auctions and I know I am sending quality traffic.

Wasn't there a better email to send messages to from the last time the beheadings started?

I just got it as well, I've even had a site review at the beginning of EPN and was given a good bill of health! My site drives very targeted traffic to eBay, I often hear from my visitors how much they enjoy my site and use the eBay links on my site. This is just terrible. I can't imagine how much better a site can be targeted than mine, offering more than just eBay ads but a LOT of other information related to the topic. My site ranks #1 for most eBay searches for this topic and it was all EARNED, not purchased. Just sick over this.... WHO can possibly stand up to whatever standards they require?

But think about this, Do you really want to deal with this month after month if they keep pulling this crap.I just got off the phone with a few of my partners and if this is a real ban and not a glitch all 9 of us are pulling the plug for good.

Just received the same letter... this is absurd Im 100% legit have driven over $175,000 in sales through my sites since EPN started and I get a form letter? I think its time for a class action suit, between EPN's questionable reporting, the ongoing approval of Auctiva commission theft from affiliates Im sick of it. F*uck EPN. I have 130,000 blog readers that are going to get an earful of anti Ebay for the next ten years or so this is my new pet project. Life goes on but this pisses me off.

I just received this notification too, so I hope it's an error. My EPC is more like 2.5. Furthermore I've been affiliating for eBay for over a year as well and never used any practices to drive traffic that could be construed and questionable.

Furthermore, I drive far more sales than ACRU's, so I'm not sure 'how' that could be seen as low quality traffic. I'm praying this was a mass message sent out in error.

I got the same thing. Five months in the program, EPC of $6.70 and nearly 70,000 clicks in those first five months. I don't know what their standard is, but I think they're making a mistake.
