Hey everyone,
We’ve posted an eBay Partner Network Migration Guide on our blog (below). Please take a moment to read through it, and if you have any additional questions that aren’t addressed in the guide, please post them to this thread. This will give other community members a one-stop shop for migration information, and the feedback will also help us provide better assistance to other publishers!
http://www.ebaypartnernetworkblog.com/english/ebay-partner-network-migration-guide/#more-29
Don’t forget! All traffic that you bring onto eBay Partner Network in April 2008 will receive a 5% bonus, so the earlier you migrate the more money you’ll receive.
Thanks,
The eBay Partner Network Team

Hi,
Thank you for the quick answers. But I want to make sure before changing anything on the current working site. Could you help me to understand the changes required as per my site files.
1. sniplet log html code:
ZirafieBayLogo&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]&adtype=1&size=88x31&mpvc=' alt='Click Here'>
1.Q. I can replace the old with new code. Can I enter any custom number for "CACHEBUSTER" if I want to keep CacheBuster? but what would be my code if I don't want CACHEBUSTER?
2. keys.php file from my site: I marked xxxxxx here for not exposing keys and token.
http://developer.ebay.com
$devID = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx';
$appID = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx';
$certID = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx';
//set the Server to use (Sandbox or Production)
$serverUrl = 'https://api.ebay.com/ws/api.dll';***<<<<<<<<
//the token representing the eBay user to assign the call with
$userToken = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx;?>
2.Q. Do I need to generate new keys as I did not find ANY specific url in ANY of my site files. Is "serverURL" is still valid location?
TIA

Hi, I was a eBay Affiliate member and my site was integrated with eBay API. And I have both Sandbox and Production keys. Now I had to sign up a new eBay Partnet Network member because of this change. My old affiliate id was not working anymore. "Migrating Your Traffic from CJ to eBay Partner Network" My question is: Do I need to generate new keys for my new account. Or is there any way link them together. Please advice me. Best regards, RK www.zirafi.com www.eparadesi.com

That's not a search box. You aren't targeting anything, so you get the home page. AID= is no longer needed. You're missing the type= or adtype= parameter. You're pulling the graphic from a CJ site, which at some point is going to turn into a really bad idea. Use the link generator or creatives to create a sample link.

I GOT AN ACRU!! I GOT AN ACRU!! After 2.5 months with NO ACRUs (I used to avg 4-5 a month) I GOT ONE! I have to say, my earnings are heading back to closer to normal too. Actually my conversion numbers seem to be way up. More cash per click, weird, but I am not complaining... Just thought I would let y'all know...

Why in the world did you put this post in this topic? Totally irrelevant, got nothing at all to do with migrating.... so it will likely go ignored.

===Help!=== BACKGROUND: (1) I changed registrars for my domain and to ease the process of managing my e-mail that comes to my small business. (2) during that process my new registrar made mistakes causing (again) the main domain for my business to appear to have NO DNS SERVERS for a period of around 3-5 days, spanning June 8th until today (june 11th). (3) once I discovered this, I worked (yesteday) at great length to get them to find and fix the problem, RESTORING DNS SERVICE to my domain WHY THIS IS RELEVANT: (A) yesterday afternoon, my EBAYPARTNERNETWORK.COM login suddenly ceased to function with no warning or notices, leaving my business of nearly 2 YEARS (with EPN and Commission Junction before that) =SUDDENLY OUT OF BUSINESS=! (B) Late last night, I managed to find an old correspondence with EPN Technical Support and was able, once my DOMAIN was fixed and therefore I could send/receive e-mails again from that DOMAIN. (C) I replied to that message and received a response from a support person who said that all she could tell was that my EPN ACCOUNT was in the "EXPIRED" state. She told me she did not know what to do about this. (D) This CHANGE IN EPN ACCOUNT STATUS coincides perfectly with the PERIOD OF DOWNTIME FOR MY COMPANY DOMAIN---the domain which is used as part of the primary e-mail address of my EPN account QUESTIONS: 1. Whom do I speak with (and how) to get this fixed pronto? 2. What the heck happened--and why wasn't I notified? 3. What can I do to expedite a resolution here? BOTTOM-LINE: My small business--after nearly 2 years of boosting up eBay's sales--is suddenly OUT OF BUSINESS! HELP!! Anthony Estes anthony.estes@gmail.com

Fellow Members, I have just spent hours reading all the input that most of you have wrote. It is clear eBay is saving a bundle (multi-millions) by not fixing this reporting issue. That is what it is all about. Until We stop the program and they get hungry again this will not get the attention it needs to be fixed. I'm confident THEY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. THREE MORE MONTHS (READ THIS) http://tinyurl.com/4dctaw

I have to agree with everyone complaining about loss of clicks and revenue on eBay's new internal system. I migrated from CJ in mid-April and saw clicks and earnings both immediately drop to zero. So after two weeks on eBay's new system I moved it back to CJ. Result? Clicks and earnings immediately went back to normal. Then at the end of May (with the new deadline) I had to go back to eBay again. Result? Clicks and earnings both immediately dropped back to zero again. Plainly, there's some big problems with eBay's back end. So eBay can either fix this - fast - or I'll simply drop them. There's a new online auction system in Australia that's now #2 (against eBay) and drawing increasing numbers of sellers who are fed up with eBay for a number of other reasons. My ad space is valuable. And if eBay won't pay for it I'm sure others will.

I am no longer recording any impressions or clicks
With campid=con, it would be a cold day in hell before you see a click.
I think I'm going to just pull the ads till eBay get their act together
Well?

I am no longer recording any impressions or clicks since I switched over and I have no idea why. The ads are showing up with no problem on the site (of course). I think I'm going to just pull the ads till eBay get their act together. From what I've read here it may be a long time if ever. For now the ads are just slowing my page loads for no good reason. Ad space is to valuable to waste. Bummer.

::::reading back :::: How long before we remove the ads? Why wait... Pulled them all today !!! Over 1000 impressions per day MR eBay I know its not much but.... Should there be some kind of performance incentive to compensate all your affiliates in the countless hours its going to take us to redo HUNDREDS of links if not THOUSANDS??? With the way its reading now Think Ill just stick with CJ and try other affiliate programs..there is one or two that do work...hahaha

The gravy train comes to an end Not sure what route to take now...too many people are complaining that the sales have stopped ?? I did nothing this last month and my last commission was the 29th of May I average over 30,000 unique hits into ebay each month which brought me a few nickels The last couple years and this affiliate program has made me some easy money Yes its a hassle to pull the site yet again. Hundreds of freaking pages... Today as my first time into reviewing these changes as you just dont mess with success until its over? Hence here I am WHAT THE HE77 HAPPENED TO MY EASY MONEY?
