"your account is related to a previously banned account"

Anyone else got this ridiculous message from ebay today? Wow, it might at least make more sense if they used the other one where it said that my traffic isn't targeted or whatever even though I've been running a few BAN sites perfectly fine for the last 3-4 months.

How exactly is my account related to a previous banned account? May I know the account please?

Sigh, anyone else got this message from ebay today?

I got the same email yesterday.
I have only one account which was created on june.I am also very worried about this.I have contacted them but no reply yet.

I got it last night too and it makes no sense to me either. I came looking for an explanation.

I got it on Dec 14th. I too have no other accounts. Don't expect an answer from eBay any time soon. Despite sending 4 emails with details of my account I have had no reply - not even a form letter to say they are looking into it. Does anyone else find it suspicious that people are getting dumped just before pay day?

They have stolen over $2000 of hard earned money and they cannot even reply to my emails.

Ebay is not ready to reveal the meaning of "your account is related to a previously banned account".All those who got this email has only one account.All the emails to the quality team and other staffs were unanswered.If they are not ready to give a satisfactory explanation,how can they revert our earnings?.I think all those who have this problem were using BANS.I strictly believe that this is an "imaginary reason" to terminate accounts that is why they are not responding.

I expect a good response from ebay staffs.

All those who got this email has only one account.

Says you. The guy selling the forged autographs will tell you his COA is real too.

Also it's got nothing to do with having one account. It has to do with the site in question being related to a previously banned account which may or may not have been yours. Of course if it was yours, I'm sure you (or anyone else here) won't admit that.

I strictly believe that this is an "imaginary reason" to terminate accounts that is why they are not responding.

Ya, I'm sure that's it. It's an arbitrary random termination scandal if I ever saw one.

I received this email last year. It took me a month to get my account restored. The final explanation was that the security of my account had been compromised. I was allowed to create another account and my funds were credited to me about a month later. It sucks that you cant gain new money while this is going on, but if you are patient you should be able to get your account back plus any funds that were associated with the account. My advice, be as nice as possible to the ePN staff you deal with. Afterall, they are the only people who can get your account and your money back.

Patience

They will eventually reply. Send an email every 2 days or so, don't let up. But be kind, and understanding, and polite and they will respond better. Getting your account restored DOES take time on your end and there isn't really anything you can do other than send emails and wait.

Also remember, do not make threats for any reason. Threatening legal action accomplishes nothing positive for anyone.
