Some noob problems, please help....

Hi

Just started with EPN and having a few problems that are driving me mad ;)

I want to put a 570 x 230 diplay of realtime geo targeted ebay listing on my site.

I am using the editor tool but can't find where the geo targeting option is?

Also when i select 5 items to diplay the preview image shows many more (the whole page length about 30 or 40)

I tried the creatives generator but that only has a handfull of pre set banners such as sporting goods, and none for crafts which is what my site is all about.  Is it possible to make my own creatives and have them geo targeted.

The geo target is an essential as my traffic is world wide.

Look forward to any help which would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Vick

Hi Vick:

I don't have any complete answers for you, but hopefully some helpful ideas/tips.

I'd stay away from the Editor Kit, or use it in small doses. ePN will eventually be doing away with it. They want to make the Custom Banner the 1-size-fits-all elastic widget and plan to have it replace the EK at some point. The EK is pretty old, and probably doesn't have any geotargeting capability.

Have you checked out the Custom Banner? Admittedly, I know little about it, but I'm pretty sure it has geotargeting functionality built in.

There's post-click geotargeting available if you build your own links, such as for text links, or if you place banner ads manually. Check out the Link Generator for that, if that's your cup of tea.

Of course, you can go "a level deeper" and use the API to pull data, and build your promotional content (banners, text ads, links, etc.). You can geotarget manually, or using an added link parameter.

Hope that's of some guidance to you...
