In the past, you have told us that Promotion Boxes are one of your most used eBay Stores features. In October ’06, we increased the file size limits as well as added more Promotion Boxes to make your Stores more customizable. Today, we are excited to let you know that we have improved the Promotion Boxes even further!

As you know, Promotion Boxes are a great way to grab buyer interest and encourage additional sales by highlighting featured items or Sales, encouraging buyers to sign up for email newsletters and more.
Here is a summary of the recent improvements:

Easy Set-up

We have simplified the Stores Promotion Box setup flow making it easier than ever to create powerful Store merchandising:

1)Select Promotion Box Location

2)Select type of listings (example: On Sale items) to be featured

3)Select the Promotion Box Type

It is that easy! Access the feature in Manage My Store.

Additional Promotion Boxes

Promotion Boxes provide an alternative way for buyers to browse in your Store. We have added two new Promotion Boxes display types for you to use, a new Slideshow and a Dynamic Auction and Fixed-Price Countdown. Create excitement by using the countdown Promotion Box for your Auctions and watch your sales grow!
