LOL...unfortunately that is the way is will probably be.
I think for the most part, the announcement is a futile attempt to slow down the rate of Store sellers leaving.

For my own personal pleasure in playing devil's advocate... I'm going to take eBay's side for the moment. I'll play along that these are attempts made at extending an olive branch and, yes, I'm sure they don't want to lose anymore customers (but who would?) They may keep us on hold for a billion years, but I wait on hold for less important things... And I'll take a $15.95 credit any time they want to pass one my way.

I've had 'hour plus' waits on the powerseller phone line; I'd expect the stores wait to be even worse.

Wonder if callers will be speaking to someone named "Steve" who's real name is Mahatma, located somewhere in the bowels of a call center in Mumbai...

I do however find the Store credit interesting. That they're giving anything back at all seems to indicate that Ebay is feeling some heat.

And for your information, Mr Cobb, I'll not be closing my stores for the time being, especially with the 120 day 'grace period' we're effectively given for those type listings. So I'll benefit from the crumbs thrown our way from the April store credit. But it does little to appease my anger at the FV increase, and I'll still be actively looking to REDUCE my ebay fees in general by expanding to other OFF EBAY VENUES and will use ebay to shamelessly advertise those other venues by all ebay legal means possible.

Indeed. I think you will see when we implement the phone support plan he talked about that Bill has listened carefully. Also, he has really taken to heart the feedback that many have sent via email, phone or on the boards. I think this is a great outcome for sellers of all sizes and types.
