Have you ever known ebay to be truthful and up front with policy changes?

They are trying to cut overhead to keep the bottom line up. They are absorbing an enormous expense by giving the mega sellers free listings. LOL.

I just checked what was being watched, and what was on sale and became just more disgusted. I've been doing this for twelve years and every single year about the fifteenth of November sales die...that is normal with my product line.

I'm waiting for the contractors to show up to put on a new roof, and siding on my house. I don't have the time to deal with another ebay change that will require me to spend unplanned time dealing with it...and having to deal with it now.

It is just easier to close it today and deal with rethinking my 'plan' next week or the week after. Sales are due to die anyway...January and February usually are my best months. I'll decide later where my stuff will be listed...I've got long standing repeat buyers, and a brisk International trade and I'm sure my buyers will follow me.

This is just more of ebay not giving me value for what I'm paying for. So they have made me a top seller...and taken away exposure that was beneficial for me. Give with one hand, take away with the other.

I'm glad that what has been going on in the last few years has motivated me to reduce my efforts from 1400 store listings and about a hundred in core every month to a total in both right now to less then sixty. I am absolutely done investing more of my time in changes.

This is no longer worth the effort or the time.

I know, Mini, not trying to be unsympathetic. I know postcard sellers depend on it also. Linda and I used to get into it about that box.

But for delivering "honest" info to the buyer, it ranks right there with "all" to me.

Well, mine won't Marty. It is already gone. This is just the last straw in a long series of last straws.

1. The link to additional store items? OR

2. ALL THE PPC ADS AT THE TOP OF EACH SEARCH PAGE AND ON THE SIDES?

I'm not sure why they are removing the link to store items but I do know it isn't to speed things up... NOPE, NO WAY, NO HOW, I DON'T BUY IT... I was born at night but not last night!

Absolutely NOT because non legit items were being sold for feedback.

those guys will always find a way to do it. I was looking through the stamps/postage the other day (can buy large quantities of new stamps under face value) and noticed some sellers were selling a single stamp, like a 17 cent stamp, for the 17 cents free shipping and saying in their title or the subtitle I give great feedback!

mini, I was just curious, do you sell on etsy or amazon? I've noticed a FEW handmade item or personalized item type things showing up more and more on amazon.

Over several weeks, our team thoroughly tested the site speed, click-through rates, and the overall purchasing impacts of these modules to determine that the net impact of their removal was overwhelmingly positive.

Also, we found that the click-through rates on both modules was so slight that, once removed, we saw no negative impact to sales volume across any categories.

The text hyperlinks on both the 'Get More Results' and the 'See all matching eBay Stores' will be preserved, with no plans to remove either at this time.
