They no longer have a live help . It has been removed from the site. Ebay never informed anyone of this in their announcements.

That is not the Ebay live help that everyone is referring to. The live help was an online chat that was available for those who did not want to wait forever for a customer service person to answer the phone. My experience with the customer service option that you are referring to has been that most of the answers go unanswered because the customer service personnel is not trained properly to answer questions. A majority of my customer calls have been directed outside the United States and when I ask to speak to someone in the United States I am being told that they cannot assure me that they can connect me to someone in the states.
I received a phone number for powersellers and cannot be directed to a powerseller customer service person either. I've been disconnected on numerous occasions when told that my call is being transferred to another location after being promised I would not be disconnected.
There used to be a live link on the home page for Ebay live help, and also in your listings when you were creating or editing a listing. Just like Ebay blogs, Ebay live help is history.

If you're in US, the best way is to give them a call via customer support section. I don't know if they have a live support or email, but you want to get your issues done as soon as possible. So, give them a call.

 

I never had any problem contacting eBay for years. In fact, they are pretty helpful with general issues. Only when it comes to a dispute, feedback problem, or something you want to appeal; they are tough to deal with, especially their investigation team. I have to give up sometimes.
