Purchased item shows "Delivered" but was not
Apr 4, 2012 01:51 AM

I purchased an item on ebay that was quickly shipped from a nice Ebay user with clear communication. I checked the status of a ship package and found it was marked "Delivered via USPS."

My wife  heard the post man put mail in the box yesterday (4/2) when the package was marked delivered and after several minutes got the mail but didn't see any box. I went to several of my neighbors and they haven't seen or received anything.

I don't think it was stolen; I think the mail representatives misplaced it. I tried to contact USPS here in town but all of their numbers are "no longer in service." A representative is supposed to contact me tomorrow and I'm supposed to give them a Non Delivery Conformation.

I understand that the Post Office is obviously to blame and don't think me or the buyer should be at fault.
