what is ebay's customer service number?

Why is this so difficult?

WHY - did I list auctions and 12 hours later one item still does not show up? That is ridiculous. The similar items already each have 5 watchers. This is going to lose me money.

SO - I cancelled the original aution and reposted it. 3 hours later, it still does not show up. I don't get it.

I am frustrated beyond frustration. With all the money Ebay charges, and the fees just keep going up, there is no way to get live help! These numbers: 1-800-322-9266 and 1-888-749-3229 are just pre-recorded prompts, but do not get you to a customer service rep. I left an email message to Ebay, and am waiting, waiting, waiting for a call back. Too bad Craigslist doesn't have an online auction. If Ebay doesn't want to talk to sellers, it's time to take the business elsewhere.

Ebay is a crooked operation, double dipping on both ends. They dont protect the buyer at all and arbitrarily hold payments for no reason. I would love to use another service but they have a monopoly and a brand name that is hard to overcome. One more thing, customer service is non existent, I could get better results talking to a mental patient on skid row.

They are soooo quick to charge you for your fees but when need help with your account they are lost

you'll have to verify your account with id information since you won't have a 6 digit pin number from the page...

Ebay doesn't beleive in customer service. Today the phone worked, but the girl who answered the question between bites (albeit incorrectly) was of no use. Paypal was even worse. I spent over 3 hours trying to get an issue resolved with an impossible buyer which took SIX DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVES to figure out.

Yesterday I had an associate who probably worked there a total of 6 months lecturing me on how to deal with a difficult buyer. By the way, they claim to not be able to read the email exchanges between Buyer-Seller, so it's diffucult to understand how they make decisions surrounding issues.

Ebay is a ghost of what it used to be. The Seller is at the mercy of irrational, difficult people, which makes no sense because we pay their fees. Go figure!

I couldn't agree more! They have removed our voice, and let us at risk to the nutcases have no idea what it is to complete a transaction. The minute things don't go exactly as they incorrectly expect, they leave a negative and you can do nothing. I am disgusted with the whole company at the moment.

I purchased an item for xmas for my husband. It did not include any of the parts required to use the item. I opened a case with ebay and i got a response that the seller turned it over to ebay's cust svc to handle. I recieved 1 message that I would recieve a resolution within 72 hours, and no later than 12/16. It is 12/18 and I have heard nothing since that message. The seller gave me an A+ for being such a great customer. This was a Xmas gift for my husband. I am out $100.00, have not resolved the issue and i am going into a black whole. Why is there no cust svc telephone #?????????? I want a full refund as I did not recieved the described item!!!!!!!

I am actually quite sick of e-bay pulling this on everyone all around the world. I live in australia and try to maker a living on the internet but e-bay makes it hard when they make up their own fees despite what it says on your insertion and final value fees. My seller account jumped $ 60 in two days. Why ? I can't figure it out but e-bay won't let me ring anyone and the "live help" is bulls**t as it is just computer automated responses. Wake up to yourselves e-bay, we made you what you are now.

I purchased an item for Christmas and received my item on time...yeah for me, right??? NO!!! Because the seller has not collected their payment through paypal, Ebay has opened a case against me!!! I can see the payment SITTING in PayPal!!!! I can't force the seller to go collect it!!!! Now I can't figure out how to reach Ebay Customer Service. The only info I can get from the email from Ebay is that I can dispute it...after the case it closed!!! Why should I have to go through all of this for an item I paid for in less than 24 hours????? Help!!!! Anyone have another number to use as a contact for Ebay????

I am so pissed off, all customer service numbers are non functional. I have been ripped off by a seller. made my resolution and have been told I would be contacted within 48 hours. 25 days ago. WTF. Does anyone work for this frigin company????? I will never use it again, and will do my best to cancel the three corporate accounts we have if nothing is done about this.

Apparently you're only supposed to get phone customer service if you use ebay a lot. Those of us who use it only rarely are left to fend for ourselves. Nice.

1-866-934-9647 does work, but they want a 6 digit pin. I didn't have one so I kept pressing 0 until I got to a menu. They resolved my problem quickly and were very nice. They also gave me another number to call if I need to. 1-866-643-3720. I hope this helps.

I just recently purchase a vechile thru Ebay Payment system on January 5, 2009 and was told that my car would be here in three days.. SSGT Johnny Corey, made the offer for a 2006 Honda Accord, for $2,960 through western union as I was directed to do so. I am very upset that I have not heard anything from SSGT JOHNNY COREY NOR THE EBAY Security department.. I have all the email documentation that was sent through me through SSGT JOHNNY COREY and EBAY SYSTEM... I HAVE TRIED CONTACTIN EBAY SEVERAL TIMES, BUT I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT THIS MATTER.. I AM GOING TO FOLLOW MY CHAIN OF COMMAND, BUT IF THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS ON EBAY I WILL BE FOLLOWING ALL PROCEDURES TO RECEVIE MY MONEY BACK... I AM REQUESTING A PHONE CALL AND EMAIL BACK FROM A MANAGER OR DIRECTOR OVER THE SITE OF EBAY... THANKS,
