People, venting here and saying "let somebody find a class action attorney" won't help. You have to move your @ss and do something yourself. Such as:
1. file a complaint with the attorney general of the state where this scam squaretrade is registered. You can find business info on squaretrade at
Link , which, among other things, is also mentioning Mr. Kord Hamilton, Customer Experience Manager, and then file complaint at
Link 2. file another complaint with BBB itself on their site. The above record shows that SQT have satisfactory record, i.e. they do resolve complaints that are filed.
3. sue SQT in small claims court. In this case SQT will also have to pay court costs, which makes this even more attractive.
4. find class action attorney by yourself. Again, search such as
Link helps. You don't have to find any other members of the class, that's something the attorney will do if he engages on this.
