I also was almost taken by a "Square Trade" deal. The person listed a ez go gas golf cart for sale for $1500US. Said to contact the seller at the e-mail address attached and not the lister, I did. Two hours later the item was pulled from ebay. I was contacted via e-mail and told the cart was in the Neitherlands. Had a story about import taxes as reason for selling. when I questioned why removed so soon, was told had another person who offered full price. Then I got the following response:

Look, I just stop the auction for a guy from Chicago and now he told me that he is not anymore interested, because his wife wanted other golf cart.Now the golf cart is still available.I lisut it t it under my name but it was a ebay error.
Like I told you in my previous message I want to complete this transaction with eBay Square Trade support and protection.
I am not so good to explanations but I will try to tell you in few words how the process works.
1) You send me your name an address for shipping and I will contact eBay Square Trade about our transaction and open a case.
2) They will contact you with all transaction details and invoice.
3) You will make the payment to one of their agents like is stated in the invoice.
4) You send the payment details to eBay Square Trade and they secure your funds.
5) After that they will contact me to start the shipping.
6) I will send you the golf car tand give you the tracking number.
7) After you will receive and inspect the golf cart you give them your approval to release the money to me.

The ebay id tatiana2144 has multiple listings for front row tickets to all these different football games, including the same Bears/Packers tickets with the same seats and row number that they offered me.

I have been trying to buy a camera for my son for Christmas. There has been heaps of cameras advertised with "Email the seller at .......... before you bid and I will discuss payment and shipping details and give you a Buy it Now price... Dont respond via the send the seller a question as I wont respond."" To anyone coming across this DONT RESPOND THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS I have tried to buy 7 cameras and so far not one has been legitimate...THEY THEN SEND A FRAUDULENT EBAY??? INVOICE AND ASK FOR A WIRE TRANSFER THROUGH SQUARE TRADE.... EBAY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO PROTECT US MORE!
