Bridezillas $60 item Return for any reason

Jul 2, 2009 6:53 AM
:^O brand new 0 FB Does NOT know even how to check the caculated shipping to her zip or even how to make the purchase.

Buyer needs hand holding throughout whole process to even buy it , no clue at all on how to make the purchase

$60 fragile item + around $12 ship cost too.
She made a pest of herself & i was trying to help her out for over 2 hrs before she even asked the ? that got her blocked .;)

Do you accept returns for any reason ? like say after i get it , If it does not fit my needs can i just return it :_|

My reply:basically said

I do not offer refunds unless it is my error If you are unsure that it will fit your needs? It would best to not buy it.

Well her reply back was hostile & rude so my seller instinct to BBL was correct B-)

Why do buyers get stupid ?:( when they want something & it is only 1 just like it listed on ebay or other online places too . Do they NOT realize that they should be nice & not get hostile & rude towards the seller when the seller was trying to help them out:(

Now the buyer found out they were BBL & still wants to buy it LOL yea right not in this lifetime B-)

Once you get rude & hostile with me you lost the chance to buy it & no matter how nice ;) you get AFTER being rude hostile with me. Knowing you are BLOCKED .will i remove your ID from BBL. just so you can buy it , use it for wedding, then return it used {maybe making a false claim to do so } get a refund from PP with me getting a now USED item back, NEG FB & DSR hits, out shipping costs ETC.

Why do some buyers think sellers are stupid B-) Of course i could use the sale , 1 of the reasons i tried to help her out , But not at my expense of anything more then time wasted already :(

No more, if my instinct says BBL from the start then I BBL instead of wasting time & still BBL in the end because I do not want to risk time money & the item being damaged or smashed too by buyer NOT packing it as securely as i did in shipping it to her if i had to accept a return .

Yep I did BBL & vented a liitle bit here too. Just too risky with the new ebay enviroment to not BBL. I rather make LESS money then risk it ??? with buyers who give me cause to worry;)

Some questions just reveal too much about what a person is thinking, what kind of person they are, or what they're planning to do. There are "bad" questions!

I was interviewing a guy for a job. The interview had gone reasonably well, and I asked him if he had any questions for me. He asked, "Do you do drug tests on your employees?"

I thanked him for his interest in the position, told him we'd be in touch if we needed his help.

:) Guess his resume went into the circle file ;)

Exactly there really is "BAD " ?? you can ask a seller before buying that will get a buyer blocked by many sellers B-)

Thats why 1 reason I lurk here:)

Lot of POTENTIAL BBL additions show up here with unreasonable expections & or unreasonable demands

1. After buyer asked if she could return a wedding dress for any reason.
2. After buyer was rude and hostile

Yep. An innocent, and less disturbing way to ask something like that, if your intentions are innocent, would have been to simple ask, 'What are your return policies?' and then ask for clarifications on something in those.

Blocked, quickly.

I'm all for sellers blocking anyone for any reason they want..it's their right..

I don't get sellers who get..I don't even know what the exact word is..but all uppity (maybe that's the word) over a buyer..block and move on, disregard all emails and move on..

Well i just happen toi LIKE smileys & use them a lot

Upper Hand comment is NOT about ruining her wedding even if she ?? thinks it might ?? Her emails kind of suggest that her or the groom cannot go on in life without them buying the item

It is about that I will not sell to her after her reply to me, Sometimes a seller does get the upper hand in getting to block a potential problem from happening

Count me in as the 3rd not siding with the seller on this one.

So what exactly was her "rude and hostile" response before you blocked her? You say that the buyer made a "pest" of herself. You also state the buyer had "stupid" questions. But weren't you helping her? Perhaps cutting ties at the point of the new buyer becoming a pest would have been more beneficial for both of you? Why didn't you listen to your seller instinct in the first place?

She sounds like a very unbalanced and disturbed individual. The type of buyer ebay attracts.

Wow, she does? What was the tip off?

Was it the buyer saying:

"Do you accept returns for any reason ? like say after i get it , If it does not fit my needs can i just return it"

or the OP saying that the "buyer needs hand holding throughout whole process to even buy it , no clue at all on how to make the purchase"

..or perhaps it was the OP's allegation that the buyer said something rude and hostile, which we don't even know what that something was?

LOL..certainly looks like you are hoping to get her somehow..

block her, ignore her and move on..

I wouldn't be checking ebay to see if another seller has my same item just so I can tell anonymous people on a chat room of hahaa..no other seller has it, I won't sell it to her and who says the seller doesn't have the upper hand with some smiley...

Why be so over the top?

What exactly am I missing?
