Re: ebay says, "no feedback extortion"

Is he saying the game is defective?

Is it possible it is defective?

If so, did your "full" refund include the cost for the buyer to send it back?

Someone pass me an explanation and a tanq on the rocks please.

My return policy clearly states - full refund if returned within 7 days at buyer's expense. The game was very accurately described. The point here is he's done this to countless others who have caved and now he thinks he can get away with this nonsense with every seller.

Not what matters.

What matters is what he said about your stuff.

How is this not extortion? Ebay says, "no extortion."

This is why Ebay and the Titanic are synonymous.

What matters is he entered in to an agreement as he did with countless others received the item promptly in like new condition and is hoping to lie his way in to a few bucks. Do you guys all work for ebay?

Look at my feedback versus his. I don't lie

I want a 3$ partial refund, and I'll leave you full positive feedback.

I believe this would have been considered extortion if he had said:

"I want a 3$ partial refund, or I'll leave you negative feedback"

No one here works for ebay.

Several people on this board have read dozens of extortion claims before, read how they turned out, and read why they turned out that way.

Dear go5876,

eBay says everything OK with this too ---

I had to replace his real use of "f" word with a representation of it.

I am going to leave you negative feedback if you try to shaft me.

Sellers who want to lie in their listings think they have a right to, and I prove those people wrong.

If you don't like being punished for stealing, boo "f"g hoo, there's loads of people in prison who will hear your sob story.

You still haven't said what he complained about.

That's the most important part.

.

Go - sounds like the extortionist who tried to get me. If you look at his FB Left, you'll see some soft positives, "Thanks for being fair", Worked out problem" and stuff like that. Those are likely for the sellers who gave the partials. The negs and neuts are for the guys who wouldn't pay him off.

Now here's the bad news: T&S will only try to stonewall you, at least at first, and he'll actually have to leave the neg before anything will be done. And you'll have to report over and over to make anything happen.

EBay's rhetoric is on your side, but their process is not. You'll have to fight hard to win one of these.
