Jelynn, how about Emma Peel from The Avengers?

Then you would get to wear those cool leather catsuits and those awesome boots.

He's not a Brewster. He's the son of a sea cook!

Soon you will run out of ebay related questions. What then?

"Why is the sky blue?"

I have a question for you OP-

What kind of person has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING better to do than ask stupid, pointless, attention seeking questions on a community help board?"

Oooo, watch out, she will have your post delete because it doesn't agree with her. Naughty, naughty...

Re: Why do so many sellers ignore questions?

Ok guys, lets give the op the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Want a reason why? I'll give an example.

Seller listed an item in auction format as a 7 day listing.

Two days into the auction, a potential buyer asked the seller a question about the item. The seller quickly answers the question.

The buyer decides to watch the item

Watches....and watches....and watches

The auction finally ends with no bids. *seller shrugs*

Three days later after the EOA, the buyer that asked the seller about the item contacts the seller.....Is the item still available? they ask.

Buyer had plenty of time to bid.....sooooo....the seller decided not to answer the buyers question, and eventually relisted the item.

The seller was I. There is one example why. Hope that helped clear things up for ya a little.

LOL, I'd like to show some actual proof of this as well for this week alone. This happens once a week or so but I got these 2 questions the other day from 2 separate customers:

"do you have a buy it now price on this pretty piece, since no one has bid on it yet thanks."

"Hi,
How are you, I have done business with you in the past and I am looking at Driftwood #346 and #338. You mention something about helping out on the shipping. I was wondering if you create an auction with those Two or do I just bid on the two and hope I win. Just wondering how you handle this."

I haven't answered them yet but I will and when I do it will be 2 guaranteed sales. It's a pain when some do this but their just trying to be savvy and I prefer some money over none if I give them the wrong answer or no answer. If questions aren't answered it will drop sales by at least 25% (opinion) so I doubt many sellers don't answer questions.

OK I just answered and made an offer with the customer that wanted the 2 pieces of driftwood. He went ahead an accepted my offer and purchased an additional 3 items for a total sale of around $90.00 ($50.00 profit)!!

Do sellers ignore?
It's at least a fifty dollar question?

Hypnoosis,
Ebay's message system is as glitchy as the feedback system. Having said that, Most sellers will respond, though I find it takes power sellers longer to do so. It seems to be directly related to the number of items for sale.
