help! Transfering over from Channel Advisor
Sep 4, 2012 11:33 AM

I am transfering my 5000 listings from channel advisor.

they made me aware that any item listed through them will need to be ended and listed as new otherwise the items will get an error message from channel advisor when the customer checks out.

I am confused on to what I should do.

I am going to start using turbo lister to list my items. I can also use file exchange.

I am trying to download the standard csv file I will need for my upload.

I can currently download my inventory from channel advisor but it will be in the excel sheet that is set up through them.

What would be the best way for me to switch over to Ebay turbo lister or Ebay file exchange.

Also the picture hosting will also change from channel advisor to my private hosting.

How do I change the pictures in my description and gallery in bulk also.

PLEASE HELP ME!

I switched from Channel Advisor a while ago.  File exchange is  better in my opnion and easy to use once you get a core upload file built.  I prefer file exchange because I am comfortable working in flat files (excel).   If you go to the file exchange menu under account there is file exchange advanced manual that will give you header requirements & values.

I have been unable to download the file from file manager portion. The page shows that it is unavailable.

I can also download all my inventory from channel advisor in excel, how would I plug it in properly to work with ebay

Thank you for the idea of the html in the excel sheet however I have no idea how to do this.

Do you have any suggestions?

Attach the html template of one of your listings.

Also Attach a file that contains a few example skus

sku, variable 1, variable 2, variable 3, variable 4.

I can make the html creator file for you using your existing html template.  It might not be till this weekend because I have a lot going on.  But at least that will solve one of your problems.

Do you sell all in one category?
