I am transferring from channel advisor.

I have a few questions.

Does file exchange have the ability to input information with tags for example.

In my excel sheet I have the value for Weight and Stone type

This autofills into my description through channel advisor.

I was wondering if there is a way for this information to be added as an excel column and for it to auto fill in the appropriate place in my description html listing.

This helps me to list more items quickly by just entering the fields in excel and have the auto fill in my description.

What I have managed to do is download the active items into turbo lister. If I copy the "active" Listing in turbo lister as a new item and then submit it that way, will the checkout information still be carried over or will it recognize that ebay checkout needs to be used.

I have two agendas.

1. carry over existing inventory into the seller manager pro section and become completley independent of channel advisor.

2. find a new way to list in bulk the way I have been doing in channel advisor. I am not sure which will work best file exchange or turbo lister.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also am open to ideas about possibly downloading my existing inventory into turbo lister and then exporting it out as a file exchange file.

I also need to schedule my listing at 1 minute intervals.

I will also need to change my picture url

maybe it will be better for me to start uploading my available inventory from scratch into seller manager pro and then going this route, but again I need a way to enter my Item description information quickly into my description

my item description is

Stone Type

Metal Type

Weight

Length

These fields autopopulate from the excel sheet I upload to channel advisor. Please check my listings.

You can make an html template in excel that auto fills in the variables for each sku using vlookup functions for the variables & for the non variables and then just add the cells together to make a complete html template.

Auto creating html descriptions for ebay was the only tricky part of leaving channel advisor.  But in excel you can do it by using the functions and seperating your html out into sections and =vlookup all the variable ins.
